Misty's POV
The next morning, you felt the definition of sore. Your legs were jello and boneless as you attempted to get out of bed. Hanging onto the furniture and the wall, you managed to stumble into the bathroom. And your eyes widened at the sight of you and Miranda's fun. You blush, fingers unconsciously tracing the hickies and bites that panted your canvas skin with colors of pinks, reds, and slight purples.
"Dang..."
You muttered softly to yourself, a breathless laugh leaving your slightly swollen lips.
"I did tell her to be rough."
You hummed and saw Miranda through the bathroom mirror.
Needing to relax your sore body, you decide to jump into the shower. Miranda wouldn't mind, right? You just had a night of fun; what could go wrong? You turned on the shower and waited for the water to warm before going in. Your skin broke out into goosebumps, and you rubbed your arms as you let the water run down the front of your body then turn to the back to wet your white, frizzled hair. The rustling of covers makes you open your eyes, and you hear a slight groan.
"Misty?"
You can hear Miranda call, her groggy and slightly raspy morning voice making you melt.
She walks into the bathroom, and you can see her silhouette past the shower curtains. You bite your lip lightly as she opens the curtain and simply gets in behind you. You giggled as she embraced you, her body still bare and her feathers a bit fluffed up.
"Morning, Pest."
She grumbles and gives your jaw a loving kiss that makes you whine with affection.
"Morning to you too, birdy."
You cooed back, basking in the tender kisses and touches of the markings you acquired from last night.
It felt all too right for you, the afterglow, the soft touches that lingered, the faint buzz of soreness in between your thighs.
"I had...fun...last night..."
Miranda muttered softly in your ear, placing more kisses upon your neck to which you could only coo in delight.
"I did too..."
You whispered back with cheeks that had tinted pink.
Your arm reaches back and cups the back of her head to keep her face in the warmth of your neck.
After a while you both showered, assisting the other and preening feathers clean. For once, Miranda seemed to be in a good mood, good enough that she didn't hiss at you when you opened the curtains and even started to make breakfast for the two of you. You couldn't stay off her either, cuddling behind her, preening her feathers, exchanging gentle and brief kisses, even the sound of our low cooing hung about in the calming atmosphere. You both ate, having a breakfast of bowls of mixed fruits and a bagel with a mountain of sweets for yourself and plain bread for Miranda. You called her weird for it, but she only rolled her eyes; however, this time, there was this sort of playfulness in the air. After eating, you both decided it was a good day to leave and get some fresh air, stretch your wings, and whatnot.
For once, everything seemed at peace.

K's POV
You and Vallery have gotten undeniably closer over the past few months. Especially with the year nearly at its end, it feels nice to get away, especially with your girlfriend. At the moment, she'd take you to her family barn where you hid in her hay bales to make you, her on top and you bottom, locked in a blissful kiss and embrace.
