Chapter 24: Jungle of Giants

Welcome back, in this chapter we are going to one of the other dungeons in the Nexus, while it does have the Eisas animals their are other animals deeper in the side, bigger and more prehistoric then them. 

Also the name of Jaune's stand has a lot of meaning to me as 'Joy Division' was one of my dad's favourite bands, Plus if Jaune summons it he can say, 'Let's Dance, Joy Divison!' a nod to the song by the Wombats.

So with all that out of the way...

Here we go!

It was the eighth day of Summer and Jaune was walking towards the forest north of the ruins, he learned it was called 'Forest of Giant Beasts', a dungeon that  had a recommended level of thirty to forty, unlike other dungeons the forest didn't have floors, instead it had zone, each zone had diffrent types of Beasts, the South where he entered had the weakest enemies and some non aggressive beasts, the east and west zones had more dangerous beasts, lastly the North zone had the most dangerous Beasts. As he walked Jaune was nursing a large bump on his head from the training Oden put him through, last night before Jaune went to bed he spent the last few hours on the market app trying to find away for Oden to train Jaune in the physical aspects of Haki the first being 'Observation Haki' this allows Jaune to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, even from a distance. It was like a sixth sense, enabling him to see through camouflage or predict future actions. But before that Jaune had to find away for Oden to interact with the physical world, luckily Jaune managed to find something in the shop, it was an artificial body called a 'Gigai' it was from a world called 'Bleach', and from what Jaune learn it was what people called soul reapers use to interact with normal humans, it had costed Jaune nearly all of his funds, but it was worth it.

 When Oden first entered it the 'Gigai' transformed into a exact copy of his body, he even began to learn how to leave the Gigai before he would start Jaune's Haki training, the training went just the way you would expect.

-Flashback-

It was 7am in the morning and Jaune had entered the emerald forest and went toward the cave that he and Pyrrha had found the Ancient Death Stalker to train without Ozpin spying on them, Jaune was kneeling down with a blindfold on with his back to Oden who was currently in his new 'Gigai' body, in his hands was a training shinai that Jaune had bought last night along with the Gigai.

Oden: Alright Jaune, it's time to learn how to use Observation Haki."

Jaune nods as Oden raised his shinai and...

*BONK*

Jaune: Ouch!"

Oden: Try again."

Jaune nods as open repeats the action and...

*BONK*

Jaune: OUCH!"

Oden: AGAIN!"

*BONK*

Jaune: OW!"

Oden: AGAIN!"

*BONK* 

Jaune: DAMMIT!"

*BONK*

Jaune: SON OF A-"

*BONK*

Oden: Again!"

-End of Flashback-

Jaune: Two hours and I didn't even unlock Observation Haki... Well at least I can train normally with my new sword.'
