Alright. I'm a huge Greys fan. This'll be my first story but I'll try my best.
Basically Meredith got diagnosed with Alzheimer's and she's sitting across from her kids telling them the story of how she met Derek. I know a bunch of people are probably writing stories with this plot so I hope mine's not too cliche.
To avoid being cliche I'm going to try and change some things up from the show. I'm sticking with all the characters and all the basics that happened in the show. But I'm only making small small changes.
1) Derek didn't die in season 11
2) Meredith and Derek had four kids
3) Callie and Arizona still broke up, but Callie adopted another baby after the split.
4) Lexie Grey and Mark Sloan are still dead. But they will be mentioned.
5) not everything will be 100% accurate. I'm keeping the main details like Addison and the vet dude Meredith dated and Rose the scrub nurse but Imma change up the convos and I may add a few scenes that you didn't see in the show. If you wanna complain, do it nicely
Basically, that's it.
When you see little dots that's when Meredith is remembering what happened when they met. If there's no dots then it's their present time. Hope it isn't confusing. Just complain if it is.
