"So...she didn't mean to tell him?" Lexie asked.
"Christina didn't think she could do kids and surgery. But she's got two kids and three Harper Avery's now. She knows she can do it both" Meredith smiled. She was proud of her friend.
"Sounds like one of those freak accidents that happens in movies" Bailey muttered "bumping into him and dropping the pictures"
"Shut up Bailey. I wanna hear more" Zola muttered.
Meredith laughed.

Meredith's POV:
"He ruined me, Mer" Christina was ranting about Burke. Again. "I can't do surgery in peace, because he's there, I see him everywhere, he made me care about him, he made me depend on him, he made me trust him. He got me all soft and having babies and crap. He ruined everything I was, he took everything I had. I feel like I can't breathe without him, and it isn't fair. He took it all, my independence and my peace and my freaking edge! He isn't taking my baby too!"
It was thanksgiving. Christina was thirteen weeks pregnant, and this whole ordeal with Burke happened two weeks ago.
Two. Weeks. Ago.
And she's still not over it.
She didn't tell him she's keeping the baby, he still thinks she's giving it up. Everyone still thinks that, except for me. She told me the truth. Burke wasn't going to sign the adoption forms anyway. She would've had a hard time finding a family who would take the baby without the fathers signature. He could always show up and take the baby from them, or visit whenever he wanted.
"So you're keeping the baby so Burke can't have it?" I ask.
"Well...yes. I suppose. But I wouldn't have been able to find a family for him" Christina was rubbing circles on her tummy. I knew she would've found an excuse to keep the baby anyway. Burke wanting it was just the one she chose. Because she was a good person, and she'd find a way to be the best Mom and surgeon.
"Well he's coming for thanksgiving dinner. Izzie invited him" I sigh.
Christina smirked. "He's friends with George. That was the excuse they chose to get him here. They want me to talk with him, they're hoping he can convince me to keep the baby. Even though I already am"
"This doesn't bother you at all?" I ask.
"Nope. I bought this" Christina pulled a shirt out of the shopping bag she'd brought with her. Currently, it was 9am and we were at my place. Dinner didn't start for another three hours, so no one was here yet.
"A shirt?" I ask, impressed. But then, she turned the shirt around.
It was a light pink shirt, it was going to be tight on her little baby belly I could tell, and on the top was written bun in the oven and there was an arrow pointing down to her belly. I laughed.
"He's gonna freak out" I'm laughing so hard, I can barely breathe. Christina wearing a tacky pregnancy shirt. Christina.
"I have a sweater to wear over it, and I plan to take it off at dinner" she smirks. Showing that shirt would be priceless.
"Well, I can't wait for everyone to get here!"
~
About three hours later, everyone was here. Izzie ended up inviting, George, Christina, Derek, Addison, Burke, Walter and Joe from the bar, Alex, Dr.Bailey and Mark.
We were all bustling around, trying to set the table and lay out the food. Christina was rubbing her belly constantly, not for show but because it seemed to calm her for some weird reason, Izzie was freaking out, Derek was glaring at Mark and Mark was smiling at me. It was...very interesting.
"Let's all sit down and take turns saying what we're thankful for!" Izzie clapped her hands, and directed each of us to our seats.
I was in between Christina and Mark, strategically placed so Burke was at the opposite end of the table next to Derek and Addison.
"I, for one am thankful for Burkes Mom who owns a restaurant that cooks Turkey" Izzie started off.
"I am thankful for Meredith" Mark smiled, and kissed my cheek.
"I am thankful for my friends. And of course, Mark" I smile. We were totally that one corny couple that was so happy they made everyone else uncomfortable.
Christina came next. She stood up and smiled. "I am thankful for this" she took off her sweater, revealing her shirt.
Bailey gasped, Joe and Walter looked surprised. And Burke...he was shell shocked.
"How far along?" Dr.Bailey asked, looking at her tiny baby belly.
"Thirteen weeks. I hit the second trimester and decided it was time to tell everyone" she smiled sweetly.
"If you don't mind me asking, who's the father?" Derek asked politely.
"Well, he's a doctor at this table. Other information cannot be disclosed" Christina was proud of herself, and Burke looked like he was going to pass out.
"It's Burke?" Bailey gasped. I was shocked. How could she guess who he was that fast.
"Don't try to deny it. Derek is married, Mark is thankful for Meredith which speaks for itself, George is seeing that nurse, or was anyway, Alex wouldn't be caught dead with Yang and vice versa, and Joe and Walter are both gay" Bailey concluded.
She made a good point.
I laughed. "I'm sorry but seeing you in a corny shirt is really funny" everyone was looking at me.
"Like you wouldn't do the same thing if you and McSteamy had a bun in the oven and he dumped you" Christina snorted.
I laughed harder "not possible! I got my...." I trailed off, realizing something. I hadn't gotten my period for the month. And Mark and I have been together for about two months.
"Meredith...." Christina was looking at me, urging me to cover up what she knew I almost let slip.
"I got my period. Didn't wanna share that but..." Everyone lets out a sigh of relief except for me. I notice Derek let's out a bigger sigh than everyone else. Even Mark.
I was quiet the rest of the meal, but everyone was too busy at Christina and Burke to notice.
I was so screwed.
A/n- oohhhhhh do you think she's really pregnant with McBaby? And Christina and the shirt...priceless.
