"'A couple hours. A couple hours'. You guys didn't come home till sunrise."

"Ho, woah, you look tired," Aitana said when she spotted JJ amongst the group coming into the bullpen. She stood on the upper level, holding a few copies of their case in her arms, leaning her body over the banister.

JJ was practically drowning her energy drink. Beside her, Penelope and Emily were shaking their heads.

"Will's away all week, so I am pulling double duty with Henry," JJ repeated her excuse for her poor appearance. She barely had time for anything else.

"Yuh-oh," Aitana mused on what 'home' must look like at the moment. She often babysat her nephew so she had a pretty good idea how young boys were like.

"And now our salsa classes are in danger!" Penelope exclaimed, sounding absolutely frightened at the idea.

"Salsa classes?" Morgan heard the last bit when he and Spencer walked into the bullpen. "Who, what, and where?"

"Obviously us," Penelope gestured between the women in the room, "Salsa classes courtesy of Aitana, and none of your business because it is a girl's night out!"

"Now hold on," Aitana said quickly, "I merely talked about it. I like to salsa dance — my entire family does."

"Why am I not surprised, Sprinkles?" Morgan raised raised an eyebrow at her.

"Shut up," Aitana said with a pointed look at the man.

"You're an all around dancer girl, aren't you?" As Morgan made the question, his gaze drifted over to Spencer who'd gone to his desk to leave his things. The topic of the missed opportunity to dance with Aitana had not been forgotten. In fact, it was a hot topic between them.

Spencer was getting real tired of Morgan, these days. Right now, he just rolled his at Morgan and pretended like he was organizing his things.

"Anyways," Aitana said, also rolling her eyes like Spencer without knowing, "I didn't suggest a thing. Penelope jumped on the idea. And she did, admittedly, pay good money for those salsa lessons so I wouldn't want to be JJ right now."

JJ agreed and raised her hand in the air to make a solid promise. "I'll get a sitter."

"I hope that you do," Emily said, for JJ's sake. They followed Penelope towards the conference room afterwards.

"Don't even get started," Aitana said sharply seconds before Morgan was about to open his mouth again.

Even Spencer looked up, startled. Aitana had come to learn when Morgan would try to get smart with her and it was honestly so funny to Spencer. She learned fast.

"I didn't even say anything!" Morgan said defensively.

"But I knew it was coming," Aitana said confidently.

"No, it wasn't..." Morgan frowned. Of course it was.

Aitana 'tskd' at him. "See, this is why you're not my favorite here."

"Oh yeah? So who is your favorite?" Morgan asked.

Aitana 'tskd' again, smiling when she briefly met Spencer's eye, then reminded the two that they had a case to deal with. She took off without saying anything else.

Morgan swung his head at Spencer, a smug smile already marking his face. Spencer wasn't even going to bother with Morgan and strode right past him, choosing to keep his gaze straight ahead. By the time the two joined the team in the conference room, Aitana and Penelope were already delivering the case.
