"Well get him back, Abby I promise" Matt attempted to comfort the distressed woman.
Becker looked down into the gaping hole in the ground as he wraps his arms around Thalia trying to comfort her as well as both woman lost someone close to them.
When the girls as calmed a little, the four of them made their way back to the car. Thalia pulled out the laptop, drawing up the map that Connor had created, it was the model as he'd promised.
"This" I pointed at the cluster on on the screen where many lines of tunnel met "is the area he identified possible as the nest".
Matt studied the map silently for a few seconds before declaring "I think he's right".
Jess piped up through our ears "Connor's black box signal is heading towards the road works guys" she explained and it was clear as day there was panic in her voice, losing a team member was a new experience for her.
"So it must be taking him back to the nest" Abby added.
Becker who was loading the guns back in the truck "I can get the team to set up an exclusion zone, I'll meet you guys there" before climbing into the truck.
The rest of us climbed into the remaining car and drove back to the abandoned shopping centre.

Once we had arrived at the centre Abby and I quickly began to walk towards the building, Jess had tracked Connor's black box to this address, so this is defiantly the creatures nest.
"Abby, Acacia, please calm down and wait" Matt tells us.
"Don't tell us to calm down, this is Connor we're talking about here, he could be already be dead" Abby snapped at him.
Matt who was desperately trying to keep up with Abby's hurried pace, sighed and said "well if he's there nothing we can do about it and if he isn't charging in this building without a plan isn't going to help him, is it?"
Abby stopped and looked at him with fear in her eyes "it's just one creature and it's already injured, the bullets pierced the exoskeleton, I saw it myself".
"Abby, it burrows, it's most likely that it related to beetles and many species live in a colonies, that means there could be over a 50 of these creature in there, this is more dangerous than you think?" I tell her the truth.
"Acacia you kn-know, I won't leave him".
"I won't either Abby, but we have to think this through, if we do something wrong it could get Connor killed or us" I tell her but before she could find another reason to save Connor a voice spoke through COMs.
"Abby?"
It was Connor.
