"Connor's hand drive is encrypted" Matt says as he types away on his laptop as I stand behind him, Emily stands near him as Abby walks up and down the bunker we have under the ARC "I'm nearly there".
"Please don't tell me I broke into Connor's lab for nothing" Abby says.
Watching as a a couple of charts pop up on the screen "Okay I'm in".
"What is it? What's is he doing?" Emily asked as we all hover over the screen as a file pops up with a bunch of readings.
"Anomaly readings?" Matt said confused just as the alarm blared through the ARC, he quickly puts the laptop in a safe space as we all made our way up into the the corridors.
"What have we got Jess?" Matt asked her.
"You're not going to believe where this anomaly is" Jess replied.
"Try me" we stopped, realising why and it was confirmed when Jess announced the address as we quickly made our way to the door just to see Connor staring.
"Connor, open up! That's a direct order" Matt shouted at Connor through the door, it did take Connor a couple of seconds but he did what he was told to.
"What have you done?" Abby asked Connor as we all stare at the mini anomaly.
"What have I" Connor started "how about 'congratulation'? No?"
"This is the first manmade anomaly in history and I made that" Connor continued.
"Lock it" I ordered just as the door opened and walked in Philip.
"I suggest you turn around and leave this lab immediately" Philip tells us "because under no circumstances is anyone going to lock this anomaly".
"Philip we have to do our job" Matt tells him.
"Matt, if we lock this anomaly now, the readings just get weaker, we might lose it altogether" Connor says.
"Oh and that would be bad?" Abby says "why?"
"Abby, come on" Connor tried to persuade her "it's perfectly safe, look at the size of it, you couldn't even get a T-Rex's toe through there, I know what I'm doing".
"No, you don't" Abby tells him "you really, really don't".
"This lab is belongs to Prospero" Philip says as he walks to stand beside Matt "it's not your jurisdiction Matt, If I have to eject you I will".
"Okay" Matt nodded not wanting to be chucked out "Abby, it's okay, I'll talk to you later"
"What?" Abby asked confused as her and Emily looked at Matt confused.
"Philip knows what he's doing" Matt tells her.
"Come on" Emily encouraged her to follow, leaving Matt and I.
"You two seem to know what you're at, so lets leave it unlocked" Matt tells Connor "and I'll increase security, yeah?"
"Philip, these results are incredible, you have to come over here" A women on a screen asked Philip.
"April, I'm on my way" Philip tells her "after you two".
"Sure" Matt says as he leaves first then I follow.
"Sorry, I should have been cooler back there" Abby apologised "I wasn't thinking".
"Locking that anomaly is not enough" Matt says "with Connor's machine, they can open another and another".
