You all thought i was dead, didn't you?

Hey everybody Carpboy009 here!

I hope everyone wasn't too mad about me taking a month break... not my best work ethic, but I'm hoping to make that up here soon.

Halo and Star Wars both had needed a break from me, more so me from them. From official news and fans constantly painting them in a negative light I needed to distance for a bit.

But I'm back, hopefully with a better, more open mindset. And despite all the rather terrifying revelations that have come to light about America in the last few months, I'm at least willing to provide a small reprieve and distraction for those looking for one.

With that, I hope you all enjoy what I had cooking up and let me know what you think.

Iziz. The capital city of Onderon and a center of culture, trade, history and the cultivation of several lifetimes of effort to thrive in such a harsh planet. The citizens would go on with their daily lives, each purchasing their next meal or other goods while conversing with each other as if nothing were wrong. Even if they felt the cold stares of the nearby droid occupation forces.

Johnson kept a hood over his head as he watched from the rooftops of a large apartment building overlooking a smaller market compared to the main road's. Small businesses and tents filled with technology gadgets with others selling fruits, meats, fur pelts and leather works. Civilians scattered around with a few small droid patrols scattered.

This section of the city hadn't had any of the rebels comb through it yet. The droids here were on alert, but not actively looking for them. Giving Johnson plenty of time to make a few calls with the hologram. He needed to make one more back at base. He was beginning to form a plan just in case, but he needed to at least see if this whole rebellion thing would pan out.

Give Skywalker's plan a chance to fail before he cleaned up the mess after.

"General, it's Persha. Checkpoint down the road holds two battle droids and a spider droid on standby. Nothing else of note, though I witnessed a tank and a squad of droids move down one of the main roads nearby." His new commander chimed in on his commlink.

He reached to his wrist to comm back. "Copy that. Make your way back here, we need to reach the others for that meeting they're having."

"Meeting? Are we late?"

"Probably. Don't worry about it, nothing important anyway."

"My master doesn't like it when I'm late for anything."

"Sounds like he's got a real stick up his ass." He paused, looking over his shoulder to see the robed woman leap high into the air and land a few meters away on his rooftop. "Seriously? You gotta stop with that. The man sent you off to war the first chance he got, makes me think he ain't the kinda man to take advice from."

"Master Kolar is a respectable Jedi Master. Powerful and skilled with a lightsaber and-"

"And why haven't I heard him do anything meaningful in this war besides send you to me?" Persha had no rebuttals to this. "The boys back at base gave you the rundown and you tested good in the simulations. But that fight out in the jungle wasn't enough to show you about war. He took you out of the kiddie pool and tossed you into the ocean. Now it's my job to teach you how to swim."

She looked down at the civilians below, all of them completely unaware of their presence. Unaware of the rebellion they had in their midst. She looked back to Johnson as he rose up and removed the hood from his robes, almost ripping the whole thing off in annoyance.
