Just as Tetsuya's first month of living passed, the winter began.
"Alright, your mana has warmed now. We can end the session here." A firm voice belonging to Akashi resounds through the room.
They're currently inside the sanctum of the omni, having a short training session on a weekday, which isn't their usual schedule. They've past decided to inflict training sessions during Friday to weekends.
But the reason for this warm up is because–
"You should be ready for bond restoration," The omni witch states, carefully observing him.
Yes, that's right. They need to restore the temporary bond they forged since a month has already passed.
Tetsuya breathes before nodding, "Yeah, I should be."
If he's being honest, he forgot about the monthly restoration if not for the notice Akashi sent him yesterday. He specifically asks him to wake up early in order to warm up his mana. The omni witch figures that it should lessen the overwhelm of the process.
Tetsuya knows every detail of how they are supposed to do it. Akashi already discussed it right after their contractual vow.
He's aware that they tried bringing out his soul.
When Akashi told him about it, he was met with questioning stares from all of them. He knew that the pink haired male wanted to ask him too but refrained from doing so.
And now, standing in front of the said male, it makes him quiver at the thought of explaining. He's been stiff the moment he gets reminded of the restoration, coming up with a thousand lies to tell them in case they ask.
'There's no need to be scared', he convinces himself.
"Kuroko," Akashi's voice pulls him out of his thoughts, "Ah yes?"
Akashi holds out his hand for him to take, a sign to exit the sanctum. "Whatever happens during the restoration," he looks at him with certainty, "Just know that nothing will go beyond boundaries."
Whatever happens, it will be unspoken of.
There it is. The unsaid words between them.
Tetsuya must've been obvious with his nervousness to have the leader of the kiseki assure him.
He takes the hands that immediately coated his figure with a chilling energy. He doesn't quiver, instead he braces himself.
'Right...' He gazes at the back of his hand that's being held by Akashi, eyes tracing over the mark on it.
'We have a contractual vow. Whatever secrets we may have, it is to remain unspoken of. It's part of the condition itself.'
The contractual vow is made for boundaries that should never be crossed to begin with.
They both walk out of the sanctum, heading straight to the stairs.
This will be done soon.

"M-Midorimacchi..w-what the hell is up with those g-glasses.." Ryouta's snickering together with Daiki's loud wheezing is heard through the living room.
