My Wife – Amelia Hamilton, Mr McCord," Jacob said with gleaming eyes as he introduced them to each other.

Zach offered his hand to her, looking at her with a glint in his eyes as he said,"Nice to meet you, Mrs Hamilton ", He pretended to meet her for the first time and for some good reasons of her own, Amelia was too happy to play-along with this pretence. Though she felt his mocking gaze on her.

She met his gaze and filled in as she shook hands,"Amelia Hamilton"

"Glad to meet you," He said with the same glint of humor in his eyes.

Amelia felt nervous as she looked hastily away from his intense eyes while she shook hands with him, thanking the heavens for the unasked help from him of keeping their first meeting out of the conversation,"Glad to meet you too, Mr McCord."

"Zach... The name is Zach McCord," His mouth twisted derisively as he said his full name, eyeing her reaction.

'Zach' - Amelia tried to mentally connect to this name with his personality. Although Amelia looked disoriented, Zach could see that. She looked different to how she was a while ago, when they collided on the lift. He couldn't figure out the change straight away, although he did notice the scarf as the add on but dismissed the thought, but now on observing her, he noticed her eyes. They looked sad and explained that she had cried. His hands tightened into what must have happened for her to cry, but then he calmed down reasoning to himself that he shouldn't react like that for her, he must not forget that she is his client's wife.

They sat on the sofa and began discussing business. All the while Amelia and Zach were certain of the others's curious glares at each other, wondering why the other had not mentioned their first meeting but both kept quiet for their own good reason.

Zach narrowed his eyes down to the contract papers. He made a few questions at Jacob about the shares and the contract and just one question to Amelia.

"I assume you are willing to sell off your shares, Mrs Hamilton but just out of curiosity, I need to know why you need to sell them when they make you hold a position in your company?"

Amelia minds were on another territory related to what Jacob had promised. She couldn't stop thinking about it. She had no words to stay. She was not prepared for a question like this nor did Jacob had warned her about it. He said the client has agreed to buy it, then why now Zach is complicating matters by asking her questions like this. Even Jacob looked taken away at this question.

"I did tell you Sir that we need to sell off a few shares so that I can invest Money on my new project," Jacob answered on Amelia's behalf.

"Is it?," Zach asked, looking at Amelia for confirmation.

She nodded.

Zach could notice the dead response. He looked at Jacob and asked," Not that it is any of my concern, but I am curious so I hope you don't mind me asking you something?

"I would be happy to supply you with answers. Please do ask," Jacob said readily.

Zach shifted his gaze to Amelia and then back to Jacob as he asked,"Just for curiosity sake, Why not sell a few of your own shares, why you are selling all of your wife shares?"

Amelia stiffened at that knowing too well what he is implying.

"She wanted me to sell her's," Jacob lied, giving a warning look at Amelia.
