"Sorry sir." I say as I sit I the truck.
"Whatever!" He shouts back as we drive off to Mama's house (the name of my parents restaurant).
My name is M. I'm 14 and my parents abuse me. The only thing that gets me through my life is my music. I love music. I like most kinds but my favorite is rock. My favorite band is Green Day. I have worked at my parents restaurant since I was about 10. I don't get payed, not even tips. I have to turn it all in to the tip jar. I'm the only waitress there but once in a while my father will help. I always clean up after closing time while my parents count the money.
I quickly eat my fruit snacks as we pull up to the building.
