I take a deep breath and tuck a stray hair behind my ear. I follow Joey, Jakob, and Noah into what I think is the living room.
"We got ourselves a new friend here!!!!" Noah shouts at all of them. They nod and don't look away from their game.
"Watch this," I whisper to Jakob. I creep over and take the controller away from the boy with the lowest score and start to play.
~10 mins. Later~
"DUUUUDE!!!! HOW DID YOU GET SUCH A HIGH SCORE?!?!?!"
"YOU GOT THE NEW HIGH SCORE!!
"HOW DID YOU BEAT ME?!?!" All of the boys started shouting. I whistle really loud an they all look at me.
"Hi I'm M, your 'new friend'" I say looking at Noah, "and y'all just got beat by a girl!" I laugh and they all gawk at me. I set my remote down gently. And step back. "I'll just uh, be going then," I say and walkout of the house.
