(chapter 41) I met the love of my life at work

I wait and wait and wait until I see her running as fast as she can to me. She's not just any girl she My Love.

"Peeta"she sighs as she reaches me and hugs me I can't help myself so I hug her bac

But when she tries to kiss me I move away

"We need to talk" I tell her as we go to get her bags and walk out to my car. We go to the car and my driver opens our doors for us.

"Look Kat I love you I do but you broke my heart in a million tiny pieces and I can't forgive you that easy"

"I know that Peeta and I will be waiting for you for however long it takes for you to forgive me I'll be here a week I'll find a hotel and earn your trust I promise you"

"No Kat you will be staying with me at my house with me"

"Okay" she gives me a small smile and the rest of the ride is quiet like really quiet

As soon as the car stops we get out and when we do Katniss gasps as she takes in my home. It huge I know but I work as a dance insrtuctor here in Louisiana and I fly out to New York when I can.

A week later Kat leaves today at around Ten and her and I have grown back together and with a accidental kiss and I think love you's we got back together fairly quickly. But she says that she needs to go back home so I am gonna give her something to come back to.

"Kat where are you" I yell as I search the house for her

"I'm in here" she yells back from the kitchen

I walk into the kitchen to find her looking at the box I gave to her what seems like a long time ago. She looks at it almost sadly.

"Whats wrong kitty kat?" I ask her going to her and hug her around her waist

She puts her hands on mine that are on her waist "my finger feels empty now that I have this" she tells my moving her ring finger around

"What?" I ask shocked

"I want you to propose to me Peeta" she tells my turning in my arms and looking at me in the eyes

"You don't think its to early for that Kat? We just got back together!" She looks crushed as I say this and then moves herself out of my arms and looks down at the floor

"You don't wanna marry me anymore do you? I knew you would find out that I wasn't good for you" she turns and looks at the wall not facing me perfect

"Hey Kat look" she turns and finds me down on my knee facing her she puts her hands to her mouth and starts crying "you are perfect for me and I will always love you no matter what happens so Kat will you be with me forever and Always, will you be Mrs. Mellark? kitty kat will you marry me." I ask nervously

"Yes"she sighs "yes" she yells pulling me up and kissing me on the lips softly

I asked the love of my life to marry me and she said yes our friends are still fighting she is still leaving but none of that matters in this one perfect moment. And then I realize in this very moment I realize a few things.
