I wanna and I'm gonna attempt to do a one-shot. I've never done one before, but I've read stories about it. If I did something wrong, please tell me.
Here I go...
Female: Virgo
Male: ScorpioIt's my first day of school at Riverbend High School. My backpack full of school supplies on my shoulders, confidence on my face, and a chest full of anxiety. WHAT IF NO ONE LIKES ME?!? THE GEEK THAT NO ONE LIKES?!?
I'm done with my mini panic attack.
For now.
I walk into the school and run to a row of lockers, pulling out my schedule sheet with my locker number, schedule, and everything I need to know about what people call 'torture'.
On one of the papers, it says I have locker 47. I find it and try to open it. No luck. They're supposed to open easily.
As I'm yelling at my locker and using different ways to open it and failing, a girl comes up behind me.
"I think you dropped your books," the girl says. I turn around to see a taller and pretty girl behind me with a group of girls behind her.
I guess I did drop my books, because they're on the ground. As I bend down to get them, she kicks them away from me.
"Give them back!" I yell.
She picks up my books with her friends laughing behind her. "Stay away from me and the rest of the school, you little annoying beach." (Just use the bad word that sounds like it) She then drops my books in the trash can and kicks it, walking away, laughing.
I immediately run over to the trash and find all my books. Unfortunately, they have gunk all over them. I try to wipe it off, but I can't.
As I try to wipe it off, a short girl taps my shoulders.
"Need any help?" She asks.
I smile at her. "Yes, please."
She smiles back and takes my books from me, banging them on the rim of the trash can. Like she's done it before, she turns them all upside down, and most if the gunk is off of it.
"There," she says. "Most of it is off. By the way, I'm Cancer."
I kindly take the books. "I'm Virgo. And I'm new to this school. Do you know how to open new lockers?"
"Your first period teacher explains it to you. You bring your backpack with you for the first period," she says softly, brushing the hair out of her face.
As I walk down the hallway, waving to her, I turn back. "Do you know who dumped my books into the trash? Mean girl with a possey."
She looks confused for a moment but she then nods. "That's Aries. Pain in the butt. I would stay away from her."
I nod. "Thanks!"
I head still turned the other way, and I didn't even notice that I bumped into someone. Even worse, a cute guy.
"I-I'm sorry," I say, helping him off the ground. What a good person I am.
He picks up his school books up off the ground. "It's cool," he says and walks around me. I didn't even get to know his name.

The first half of school wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. I got laughed at in class and tripped on my or someone else's shoe even more times.
Good thing it's lunch time.
I find Cancer and sit next to her at her table because she's my only friend.
She welcomes me to her table. "Hi again! Do you wanna meet my friends?" She asks, pointing to seemingly friendly girls in front of her.
I nod. "Yes, please."
She smiles and points to each girl. "Here's Pisces, Capricorn and Taurus!" There's only two girls. "Taurus must be getting more food. She could marry it if it's legal. Anyway, girls, this is Virgo." They both smile and wave.
I laugh a little but then stop. Scorpio, the boy I have a crush on, is sitting at the same table as us. I can't help but stare and smile a little bit.
Pisces widens her eyes at me. "Who is it? Who's the boy?"
I turn my head to her. "What? What boy? I don't know any boys. I don't even like any boys!"
She gives me an 'Uh-huh' look. "Fine," I say. "His name is Scorpio..."
Capricorn gasps. "You like him?" She whispers.
I shrug. "Yeah, he's kinda cute. Who am I kidding? He's HOT!" I say quiet back.
Taurus arrives and sits down at the table with two plates of food. "Hey, guys," she says through a mouthful of spaghetti. "Who's the new girl?"
Pisces smiles. "This is Virgo, and we're trying to get her to talk to her crush!"
"No one ever said anything about that," I say.
"We did now!" She says. "Talk to him!"
We both stand up. I do because I wanna get out of this situation. She stands up to shove me over to Scorpio, which she just did.
I look back at her. She motions me to talk to him.
Without looking up at me, he says, "What do you want?"
I feel myself sweating and my heart beating. I've never felt this way before. "I-I-I uh...w-wanted to ask you s-s-something..."
He looks up at me. "Hit me."
I fold my hands together. "Um..." There's a long pause before I talk. "Do you...like anyone?"
I think he gets it because he stands up and holds my hand, pulling me to the janitor's closet in the cafeteria. He closes the door and presses me against the wall, closing me in his arms.
"Yes, I do like someone," he says.
I think I know the answer. "Who?" I ask innocently.
Even in the dark, I can see him licking his lips. "Does this answer your question?" He asks, pressing his lips to mine. I play along and wrap my arms around his neck as his hands slip to my waist.
So...it's been a weird first day of school.
But it's been the best.
Pleeeeeeease tell me if my one-shot was done wrong! Anyway, hope you liked it!
