Sorry to Frerard_jalex_kellic, who requested this oneshot. I know it's been 4 months, but at the time you commented, I used my phone to do wattpad instead of my computer, so I had no idea how to look at the comments and I just saw it now.
-=Preston's POV=-
The engines roar in my ears, waking me up from my nap. By back hurts from sitting in the awkward position and I stretch my arms out in front of me, easing the tension in my shoulders and neck. Looking out the window of the plane, I see only clouds and the faint lights of a city below us. To my right is Mitch, who is scrolling through twitter, and past him is a sleeping Australian snuggled up into Mitch's checkered hoodie.
"How long till we land?" I ask Mitch. My voice is raspy from the regulated dry air in the cabin. The Canadian starts, and looks at me.
"Oh! you're awake! I just woke up too so I dunno." he replies, and then lets out a kitten yawn. I laugh at how cute the noise sounds.
"Are you still tired?" I ask him. he nods.
"Yeah, but if I fall asleep I'm gonna move around too much and Lachy will wake up." He turns to look at the adorable sleeping aussie next to him.
"I got it. Switch seats with me. You can sleep on my shoulder." I say. Mitch's eyes widen slightly.
"Are you sure?" he asks. I nod and stand up. Mitch carefully lifts Lachlan into an upright position and we shuffle past each other.
"Thank you." Mitch says as he kicks his shoes off and snuggles into my lap, his legs curled up against the wall. I gently play with the Canadian's hair and feel Lachlan's head fall on my other shoulder. I kiss the top of his head and he sighs in content in his sleep.
I run my hands through Mitch's hair again as his breathing slows and he dozes off. For the next hour I busy myself combing the Canadian's brunette quiff. A voice sounds over the loudspeaker, muffled by the sounds of the turbulence.
"Ladies and gentlemen, as we begin our descent toward Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Please turn off all electronic devices until we are safely parked at the gate. Thank you." to my right, Lachlan stirs at the noise, opening his crystal blue eyes, which immediately meet mine.
"Hi Preston." He says tiredly, and wraps his arms around me, kissing me on the lips. I break away first, murmuring, "hey Lachy. Have a nice nap?" He nods and I smile, shaking Mitch's shoulder lightly. The Canadian groans but sits up, quickly kissing the corner of my mouth shifting to stretch his legs.
"Are we landing?" he asks. I nod, and he pulls his seatbelt over his waist, securing it on the other side. Lachlan and I already have our seat belts fastened. The aircraft begins its steady descent, the city becoming clearer and clearer through the window. When the plane touches down lightly and pulls into the jet bridge that connects it to the building, the seatbelt signs finally turn off, and a buzz of noise begins as people grab their bags and file out.
Lachlan, being the tallest, grabs our bags from the storage compartment above the seat. He sets my duffel bag on top of Mitch's small carry on suitcase, and slings his own duffel over his shoulder.
"I can grab some of that you know." I say. Lachlan looks up, surprised at my offer.
"I- um... Thanks. Actually would you mind taking this?" He points to my pack. I nod and grab it, Lachlan immediately replacing it with his own. Leaning over, he gently pulls a tired Mitch from his seat, picking him up like a toddler, in a sort of front-piggy back. Mitch's legs are wrapped around the blonde's waist, and his head is limp on Lachlan's shoulder, arms wrapped around the other's chest. One of Lachlan's arms is draped across Mitch's lower back, his hand on Mitch's thigh, holding him up. The other is holding their suitcases.
I can't help but smile in adoration at the sight, and I reach over and pry Lachlan's fingers from the
suitcase, grabbing it from him. The Aussie gives me a grateful look and twines his hands together under Mitch's butt, maintaining a better hold on him.We slowly follow the lines of people out of the plane, Lachlan carrying a sleepy Canadian and me following behind with the suitcases.
As we near baggage claim, Mitch's eyes flicker open. He nudges Lachlan, who kisses him lightly on the head and sets him down. Mitch sways as he stands, until Lachlan places an arm around his waist, steadying the Canadian. When Mitch regains his footing, he pecks the Australian on the lips and walks over to me.
"Hi." He says timidly. I chuckle at his frightened voice. Instead of answering, I pull him in by his hoodie collar and kiss the top of his head.
"Don't be afraid Mitchy. I'm never going to hurt you or let you get hurt. He smiles and nods.
"Thank you. This may take some getting used to." He sighs and looks down as we start walking towards baggage claim. I lightly brush his hair out of his face.
"Hey. I'll be here to help you through it. I know it's a tough transition but we can do it. Lachlan too. I promise." Mitch lets out a half smile.
"Ok. I trust you Preston. I really do. And it feels wonderful to trust someone again." Suddenly he pulls me toward him and buries his face in my shoulder. I stumble back slightly.
"I love you." He states into my T-shirt, his voice muffled by the fabric. I smile warmly at him and wrap my free arm around his small form.
"I love you too Mitchell." I say quietly. Looking up, I hear the rolling of wheels approach. Lachlan walks toward us, carrying his suitcase and Mitch's. I rub some circles on Mitch's back and separate myself from him, taking one of the suitcases. With that, we walk toward the car.

When we reach my condo, I open the trunk to grab the suitcases, dragging them toward the building.
"I can hold my own suitcase Presto." Mitch says, taking his suitcase from me and walking through the front door, Lachlan and I following behind. I raise an eyebrow at the nickname.
"Mitch!" Lachlan whines as we step into the elevator, stretching the I. "I thought we decided on Pressy!" At this point we've reached the correct floor and we enter my apartment. I gesture to the chairs and couch and they comply, Mitch collapsing onto the couch and Lachlan hesitantly sitting on a barstool, his arms wrapped around himself.
Mitch smirks at Lachlan. "Nah I like Presto better and..." He gets up and wraps his arm around me. "Preston likes my nickname better cuz he loves me more!"
Lachlan's eyes widen and I struggle to hold back a smile. He walks over, lightly shoving Mitch back and kissing me on the cheek.
"Nah mate. Pressy likes me better." Lachlan replies. Mitch smirks and pulls me back toward him, kissing me roughly on the lips, his eyes tightly shut. I smile into the kiss and Mitch pulls away, blowing a raspberry at Lachlan, who lets out a "hmph" and sits back on the couch, his arms around his knees. Mitch's face immediately softens and he walks toward the blonde, leaning down and wrapping his arms around him, kissing Lachlan lovingly.
"And you're my Little Lachy." He murmurs into the kiss. "I have an idea. We'll call him Prezzo."
Lachlan smiles and pulls away, if only a couple inches. "I like that." He says. I chuckle.
"Wait! Don't I get a say?" I laugh.
Lachlan and Mitch both shake their heads at me, and we all burst into laughter.
