The moment was over as fast as it had started. Vik and Lachlan slowly sank back down onto four legs. Vik whispered something into his new mate's ear, Lachlan responding with a light nod. With that, Vik walked over to Preston, bowing in front of him slightly.

"I'm sorry for ever trying to hurt you. The truth is, with JJ and Lachy's alpha being the only ones I had ever known, I hadn't thought it possible to meet anyone, let alone an alpha, as kind, courageous, and loving toward their mates as you are." With that, he stood up on his hind legs, put one paw on the Lava-Wolf's shoulder, and licked the tip of his nose with his tiny, rough, sandpaper tongue. Preston purred, before letting out a playful bark, tackling the tiny Former-SideWolf and pinning him to the grass, nuzzling his neck. Vik let out a little yap of protest, before succumbing to Preston's loving touches.

"Haha! You do sound as cute as you look!" Preston said gleefully, staring into Vik's eyes. Jerome, catching on quickly, ran over to Rob, shoving him playfully off Mitch, before nipping at the hollow of his ear, growling, "Mitch is mine now," and padding over to the checkered wolf, pushing him to the ground and lying over him, licking his exposed neck and face. Mitch purred, pressing his forepaws against Jerome's muscled chest and leaning up to nuzzle into his throat.

Rob, seeing a familiar bright gold pelt, bounded over to Lachlan, sliding under him upside down. Lachlan looked down to see a pair of the brightest green eyes he had ever seen staring back up at him, as Rob's paw wrapped around his neck, pulling him down, with a muffled "mmph" onto his body.

Vik and Preston were the first ones to grow tired, with the tiny red-and-blue wolf making a nest out of the alpha's neck fur, and dozing off, lying across Preston's back. Preston himself lay with his snout in his paws, staring at the rest of the clearing. Soon enough, Rob and Lachlan stood up, wandering over to the two sleepy wolves, Lachlan curling up into a tiny ball against Preston's side, and Rob slipping his paws under his Fiery mate's warm belly, Resting with his face touching Preston's. Mitch and Jerome were the last to tire out, and when they did, the two walked over to the rest, Jerome taking his place wrapped around Rob's small body, and Mitch draping himself over Lachlan's back, half of him covering the Gold with a blanket of thick fluff.

"Hey guys?" Preston said quietly, trying not to disturb the silence of the dusk. His voice sent vibrations through the others, who were all leaning against him in various ways. He received hums of acknowledgement from the others.

"Are we... are you guys-" he stopped awkwardly, not knowing exactly how to continue. Vik chuckled.

"Preston, the alpha who is always sure of himself, forgot how to talk." The rest of the wolves laughed, as Preston muttered, "Stahp it Vikky! I can't even words right now!" Vik grinned, and moved so he was laying his head between Preston's ears.

"I think, if I got what Lava-P was trying to say, the answer is a yes from me. I would be happy to be all of your mate." Preston let out a "hmph" at Vik's correct evaluation of his attempted question.

"I would be honored to have all of you as mates." Murmured a quiet Rob.

"I second that," Mitch bantered cheekily. Preston let out a purr of laughter.

"Lachlan?" he questioned. The gold had been awfully quiet. He let out a sniffle.

"Do you really want me? I'm just an ugly scarred beta."

Preston sighed.

"Lachlan, you're so much more than that. You're not ugly, your pelt is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen; and each of your scars is a piece of your past. We all accept you for that, and I for one plan on healing each of those wounds with love. So will you join us?"

Lachlan mewled quietly.

"I- I'd love to." He mumbled.

"and I would love to be the only omega of our little Pack." Jerome said, nodding his head slightly.

"No Jerome." Preston shook his head, much to the dismay of Vik, who nearly fell off. "In our Pack, there are no omegas, no alphas, and no betas. There is just us six, and we all love each other." Jerome let out a contented sigh.

"That sounds absolutely wonderful."

The mates fell asleep like that, the stars shining down on them, all six tranquil and untroubled. They lazed in each other's warmth and love. Nothing could break them apart. After all, they were a pack now. A pack of Lone Wolves Together.
