The rain pours down from the sky like nothing I have seen before in my hometown as if the rain is sympathizing with me in my sorrow.
Agastya's voice has blurred in the background due to the heavy rain or maybe he has stopped trying to get my attention.
I look over my shoulder glancing down through the gaps of my balcony when I see him standing right where he was while his head is still raised up in my direction. The rain descends down from his body as he is drenched from head to toe.
I remember the time when he got cold just after spending a few minutes in the drizzling rain and now he is hell bent on standing here in this weather without worrying about his health. I angrily get up looking down at him from the balcony.
"Go home Agatsya!" I shout but he simply shakes his head without saying anything else. The rain has blurred his face completely from my sight which makes me even more angry as I strom inside my bedroom.
Marching towards the door I hastily open the door, closing it shut behind me. The guard on duty flinches looking at me with worry in his eyes due to my actions but before I can say anything to him Zee rushes to my side appearing out of the blue.
"What happened, is everything okay?" Zee ushers and without another word I start making my way down stairs in a hurry with Zee rushing to my side, matching my speed with ease.
"Empty this corridor, I don't want any guard here" I mutter without giving him further explanation as he looks at me in confusion "Just do as I say, I will explain later" I continue before he can ask anything and run downstairs.
Once I step down I turn around the corner opening the large windows connected to the garden and spot Agastya still standing where I saw him just moments ago. Glaring at him I take quick steps in his direction without caring about the rain soaking me wet.
Hearing the wet footsteps on the grass, Agastya looks at me. His hair is sticking to his forehead as the water runs down from his head but his eyes stay focused on me, staring at me as I make my way towards him.
"Have you gone mad?!" I ask aggressively, pushing his shoulder when I reach in front of him "Why don't you listen to me?!" I shout but the rain muffles my voice.
"Beacuse you don't listen to me" Agastya whispers as he stares at my face without making any effort to protect himself from my punch.
"Do you want to fall sick, standing in the rain like this?!" I question in frustration getting closer to him so that we are standing toe to toe while the rain pours down on both of us. The water from his hair falls on my forehead as he stares at me without blinking.
"If that's what you want" He mumbles in a low voice. We stand there staring at each other while the rain blurs in the background and there is nothing left but us. Just the two of us. My eyes burn with tears as I stare at him taking in his appearance. He looks disheveled even without the rain. His eyes are more red than mine were just a day ago.
Giving him one last glance I grab his wrist as his eyes follow the direction of my hand before I start to lead him inside the palace. We haven't even stepped a foot inside the shade when he sneezes behind me.
I throw a backward glare at him dragging him further "When you know you can't handle the rain, why do you have to act so stubborn" I mutter under my breath in anger.
