I bury my hands in my hair when another one of my attempts to call Aadriti fails. How can I be so stupid that I forgot to take her number yesterday?! If that wasn't enough we were denied the permission to enter her palace today.

After talking to the principal we went to her house but in the hopes that I could meet her father once again but the security guard denied us permission. It doesn't end here, when we tried to climb the wall and trespass on her property like yesterday we were surrounded by her guards.

I sigh staring up at my friends who are arguing over what we should order to eat while my appetite for food is long gone.

"But we are staying here for the first time, we should try some local speciality of this place" Jungkook suggests and Reyansh nods in agreement.

The one room apartment we are staying at was the only one we could find here on immediate basis so I am stuck with these fools till Aadriti's dad lets her come back to me.

"I don't want to take risk with my food, let's order from some good restaurant-" Dhruv scrunches his nose as he disagrees with Jungkook.

I sigh, shaking my head as I watch their argument "mazya aayushyachi vat lagliy ithe and tumhala jevychi padliye!" I exclaim in frustration which pauses their conversation as they look at each other before looking at me.

(My life has been spoiled here and you all are worrying about the food!)

"What did you say?" Jungkook questions while the other two look as confused as him which makes me throw my head back in frustration.

"Don't worry bro we will find some way to contact her- relax. Do you want me to send drones-" Jungkook is cut off as Reyansh glares at him and mutters a "NO!" Jungkook shrugs his shoulders and goes back to deciding which place they should order food from.

"I understand your frustration, but hey!-" Dhruv tries to cheer me up as he takes a seat beside me on the bed. "You will meet her tomorrow, she will come to the college right?" and I look at him hopefully.

"What if she doesn't come tomorrow?" Jungkook cuts off my hopes with his question. Dhruv and Reyansh turn to glare at him before he continues "I mean we don't know when she will be joining the college"

"Tomorrow if you don't meet her, we will barge inside her house" Dhruv pats my shoulder as he says in determination.

"Yes and get ourself killed" Reyansh mutters.

"Who would dare to touch you when I am there?" Jungkook adds haughtily and I mentally sigh. What am I going to do with these people?

"What should I do till then? There is so much time left for tomorrow to begin" I ask, staring at all three of them.

"Intezaar meri jaan, pyaar mein intezaar karna padta hai" Dhruv grins, throwing his hand over my shoulder.

(Wait my love, in love you have to wait)

"Yes, who would know that better than you" Reyansh mutters under his breath, getting a pillow in his face as Dhruv throws it at him with full force. I fall back on the bed keeping my hand behind my head as I stare at the ceiling.

Wait.

The wait is such a crucial thing one can do.

I brush my hand over my shirt for the hundredth time as I wait for Aadriti to arrive standing near the gate. The shirt is still wrinkled as I didn't get to pack any nice shirts while coming here.
