"I think this place is perfect. What's your opinion?"
I looked around the area where it is supposed to be filmed. This place looked good to me. It has all the traits of an amazing production; it has mysterious beauty, and the blanket of fog in the morning and late at night is perfect for our theme.
A breather lamenting through the dusk in search of the one his heart longs for.
A soulful song.
"You're right, if everything is set, then we can start with the filming."
By evening, filming had started, and Haru and Misha were completely immersed in their characters, doing their parts perfectly. But there was something else that caught my attention, it was him.
The one with a faint bruise painted on the corner of his lower lip, something you'd miss if you didn't pay attention.
What an incredible sight to see Tej Malhotra with a busted lip. Looks like he messed with someone the wrong way. I wonder who it could be.
His gaze was sharp and irritated, as if someone had punched him - which someone did. His eyes were fixed on a spot, boring into it. I followed his gaze, and Samyuktha was right in front of him. Her back was turned to him, but his gaze drilled into her back. Now that I recall, last night when Samyuktha came to the room, her eyes were seething, and her jaw was clenched so tightly it could crack. She even sprained her hands. I asked her, but she refused to speak and only told me she had stumbled into a dog and accidentally sprained her wrist.
Now I realise which dog she was talking about.
I don't know if I should be mad or impressed. Was she alone with him? Did he try to hurt her? I marched towards him, since he was alone at that time.
"Someone looks busted," I said, not even trying to hide my smirk. His attention turned to me and touched his lips at first, then, as if remembering something, "They were pretty soft hands."
Now it was his turn to smirk, his voice laced with mockery.
"If they were, your face wouldn't be decorated with a bruise. She was merciful, but if I ever saw you near her, I wouldn't be merciful."
"Do you even know me? What can I do? What powers do I hold? Certainly not. If you did, you wouldn't be spouting nonsense. First, gather your facts together, then take action."
"Even if I don't, nothing can save you from me. Make no mistake."
With that little talk, I walked back to my position, as the shooting had already started. Though I said it, and there is no doubt, I would honour my words, but he was right. I still don't know much about him, and I can't even directly ask Samyuktha about it. She would get defensive and shut me out. I don't want that.
Her condition is improving, but she still needs monitoring. After the accident, her nightmares have reduced and she started to focus on the present, then spaced out. She is getting better.
It was the sixth and last day of the shooting, and everything was advancing as expected. The weather has been pleasant, the chemistry between the actors is great, notable coordination among the crew members. Of course, Tej and Aastha are acting according to their position. Which is honestly surprising!
Right now, it's almost midnight, and tomorrow is Samyuktha's twenty-second birthday, but right now, she is sleeping like a log after a long day. Her body needs rest.
I hope she is ready for her surprise tomorrow.
It was around 4:30 a.m., and Samyuktha and I were walking through the light forest where the blanket of fog was surrounding us. It's surprising because Samyuktha not only got ready but also brought her latest DSLR, which she bought a few days ago.
