I hated this. I hated every part of it. Just thinking about how disappointed my mom would be made me want to throw up. I was a perfect daughter. I stayed good all through high school. I didn't smoke, except for once or twice with Zayn, I didn't party and I didn't drink. And for her to hear from Liam, instead of me about my recklessness was almost too much to bear.

I had asked, well more along the lines of begged Harry to take me home. I argued with him about the last time he had been home and he agreed it had been a while but he didn't want to make the trip out until I promised to buy him food. "Fine but I choose where we're going to eat." I had hugged him after he said that before rushing out of his room so I could go pack.

After explaining to Key and Niall that night about where I was going, I went straight to bed. I didn't want anything to change my mind about going back home because I knew I would chicken out and talk myself out of it. If there was one thing I hated, it was confrontation. And, unfortunately, a lot of that had been happening lately.

"God, I hate you." Harry groaned as his hands shifted on the wheel.

"No you don't." I said, nudging his arm. He rolled his eyes at me before pushing his sunglasses back up his nose.

"Yes I do. I shouldn't have agreed to this. Or I should at least be getting more than food." He grumbled as we stopped at a red light. I snorted.

"Oh? Like what?"

"You could suck my dick." I started hitting his arm. "Ow! OW! OKAY, OKAY." I stopped, laughing. "Sheesh, come on I was kidding. It's too early for this." He said shaking his head at me.

"You're so crude and I hate you." I told him with a laugh.

"Naw, you love me." Actually, I didn't know how I felt about him.

"You're going straight to your moms house." I scolded Harry as he dropped me off at my house.

"Yeah, yeah whatever Em. Don't you have something to do?" He questioned, pointing up to my house. I glanced back as the door began to open. My mother smiled from the doorway.

"Hello Harry!" She called out cheerfully.

"Hey." Harry said leaning down, a small smile on his lips. "I'll pick you up Sunday then." Harry said looking back at me.

"Yes please." Despite my better judgement, I kissed his cheek. "Thank you for doing this." He looked less phased by this sign of affection. Just nodded his head.

"I'll see you soon." I slipped out of the car, grabbing my bags and walked onto my front lawn. I watched as he pulled away from the curb, turned the car around and take off down the street. I waved the entire time but I knew I had to face the music.

Turning slowly, I faced my mom. She looked weary and I was hopping it wasn't because of me. She had her usual smile and hug for me though when I walked up. And I hugged her back, relishing the silence. "Let's go inside baby girl." She murmured. I suppressed a sigh. She only called me that when she was really upset with me.

We ate an early lunch together and for the most part, we were quiet. She made small talk about classes and my friends but when she cleared her throat, when she was finished, I knew it was time. "Honey, Liam told me about what's been going on with you lately." I sighed.

"I know mom. I found out but I don't want you to worry about me. I'm not going to turn into him I wouldn't never.."

"Oh no honey!" My mom gasped. I stared at her. "I would never ever think that you'd become like your father. Never in a million years." She reached out for my hand and I could have burst into tears right there. "I'm just worried about you, all of your friends are. We only want what's best for you."
