Chapter 36

I sighed thinking about it, even though we had made up only a few hours later. He decided he didn’t want to go to the prom and stayed home with me, and we ate french fries instead on the couch. I never told him what was the real reason I didn’t want to go, I only told him I was sick.

*flashback*

I heard someone knock at my door, I was home alone and Niall had probably left for prom already. I went to open it, and there he was. He walked straight inside, holding a bag from Mc Donald’s. I closed the door behind him and he stopped just looking at me.

“What are you doing?”, I sighed.

“What does it look like”, he mumbled and held up the bag. I couldn’t help but to smile.

“I’m sorry I’m stubborn”, I said, almost whispering.

“It’s ok”.

“I’m just feeling sick, that’s all”.

“Too sick for chips?”. I chuckled.

“Never”. And he left it like that, without asking any other questions. We climbed up the stairs and seated on the large carpet in the hallway, just eating the fries. “You’re the best friend ever”, I said as I put the fries to my mouth.

“I know”, he chuckled.
