Sage's pov

I went inside and saw Shannon, Sarah, and Sabrina look at me.

"What?" I asked.

"We need to talk to you." Sarah said.

"Uh...ok." I said giving them a weird look. I sat down in the chair across the couch.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Well we figured out why you always have an attitude." Sabrina said. My stomach dropped. Crap.

"Uh...no idea what you mean." I said. "I'm always like this." I said.

"Sage we know you're upset about mom..." Shannon started.

"No! Nothing is wrong. I'm fine! I moved on!" I snapped.

"Sage no you didn't." Sabrina said.

"Yes I did!" I said.

"Sage talk to us. We want to help you!" Sarah said.

"You can't fix this." I said. They gave me confused looks. "You can't." I said.

"Sage no we can't, but we can help you." Sabrina said.

"No there's no way. I already lost it. I can't be fixed." I said.

"Sage..." Shannon started.

"Guys thanks for trying to help, but it won't work." I said. "No matter how hard you try, you can't be mom, and you can't make dad better. Soon Shannon has to go back to college, Sarah you'll be leaving soon. Then Sabrina. Nothing is going to be ok." I explained. Sarah grabbed my hand and sat me by them.

"Sage everything will be. You'll always have us. Please don't worry about this." Shannon said.

"Yeah and don't worry about mom. She's in a better place." Sarah said.

"And dad will get better." Sabrina added.

"Thanks guys. I'll try to stop with the attitude." I said.

"Yes!" they cheered and I laughed.

"I'm gonna go to bed. It was a hard day, especially since it was my first day back without the cast." I said. They laughed and I went to bed.
