Hey y'all!!
I'm so sorry it's been so long I've literally missed y'all so much. Like... so much. My first week of college has been great and the like pre-orientation bonding thing was crazy but amazing (we went canoeing, caving, and hiking)!
I just wanted to make it clear for everyone who reads the story that I am still writing and will still be updating even in college so don't worry! But I know it's been a long time since the last chapter update and I'm still only a little over halfway through the plot I want to get through for the chapter even though I have over 4,000 words already because I keep putting so much detail 😭😭
I guess I just wanted to let y'all know I'm still here... working away. I don't have that much time to work on it, but when I do get the time I do come back to it. This story's my secret little passion piece and I'd never abandon it. I work on it all the time actually.
But I feel bad y'all have to wait so long and I'm worried that everyone's just gonna like forget about it or stop caring in these long gaps I guess. I don't know. I want y'all to know I really am working and trying!
I could write shorter chapters, but I want each chapter to be this beautifully fleshed out thing with lore and plot and vivid imagery. I want it to be something I can be proud of and so I work for longer times on smaller parts just trying to make it perfect both for me and y'all.
But I really am sorry about the wait that causes. Each day I sit down and plan to finish, but end up instead with a very thorough and fleshed out but still uncompleted chapter it kills me. Like I feel such a crushing disappointment each night I lose that I can't update it cause I'm always so excited to give y'all the next part and so proud of my hard work.
