"Where are we going?" I asked, holding my arms out in front of me.

"Somewhere," Gideon's breath was on my neck.

My  blindfold disabled me to see where it was Gideon was taking me and I kept my arms out, prepared for him to knock me into something- that was  something he would do. I wouldn't call whatever he was doing a date, but I knew it was going to involve something like that.

"And here we are," Gideon's hand moved from my biceps to untie the blindfold.

In front of me there was a small white tent. It went to a point, kind of like a teepee, and had lights strung on it from the inside. Inside the tent was a large tray with food and a fancy bottle of alcohol in front of a TV screen. Awe struck me like lightning.

"You said this wasn't a date?" I raised an eyebrow to Gideon.

"If you don't like it, leave," Gideon shrugged. "And it's not a date. Just a little time for a friend to unwind from stresses."

I wore a white, baggy button-up shirt, dark blue jean shorts, and brown sandals with gold straps. My hair was straightened and rather plain. Gideon wore a white t-shirt and tan cargo shorts with tennis shoes. His blonde hair was as usual: lightly gelled, making it stand up.

"Sure, whatever you say," I mumbled walking past him.

Gideon watched me as I went in the little dining area and stretched up, sighing. As I spun around playfully, I looked at the beautiful area. A lake was down shore of where the set up was. In the protection and relaxation of the trees, the set up looked over the sandy little beach until the water met up with it.

"It is relaxing," I stated.

"Good," Gideon smiled slightly.

"So, what's for dinner?" I looked down at the plates. "Spaghetti? You're really trying to 'Lady and the Tramp' me, huh?"

"It's not a date," Gideon grumbled and shook his head, sitting down with me.

"What is it th-

Getting my mouth shoved full of noodles and meat, I widened my eyes at Gideon. He smirked and then laughed at my face.

"Shut it and eat!"

"I hate you sometimes," I mumbled around my food as I pulled the fork out of my mouth.

We ate in silence, listening to the Disney movies playing. After finishing the food, Gideon and I started talking, not paying attention to the movies. We talked for hours it seemed like.

"Favorite place to go?" I asked another question.

"Back home," Gideon smiled slightly, his eyes shining happily. "You?"

"My family's passed down cabin," I closed my eyes, thinking about the wonderful place.

"Tell me about it," Gideon was propping his head up with his hand and elbow.

"It's deep in the Oregon forests. Surrounded by a few small lakes full of fish, it has horses and cows and wildlife. There's miles of trails for riding the horses and so many beautiful landmarks. My favorite place to go on the land is in the way back where a waterfall pouring colors that sometimes look like a rainbow sits. I used to sit by it for hours. It's," I paused, opening my eyes and gulping, "it's where Will and I had our first kiss."
