====================
Alcina Dimitrescu:
- Like you, your parent(s) is/are from outside the village. They aren't accustomed to its bizarreness and, needless to say, are more than a little taken aback when they meet Alcina and discover that she's nearly ten feet tall.
- When describing her, you had told them that Alcina was tall, but they had anticipated maybe six feet at most!
- Alcina has done something like this once before. It was an early expectation in a relationship she didn't care for. It was back in America, back when her family had worried her blood disease would claim her life early. She fooled around with the people who truly caught her interest in secret, and her public-facing partner died quite mysteriously. A shame, truly!
- This is different, however. Aside from Alcina's daughters, her family is all long dead.
- Unlike the one her own parents thought perfect for her, you are quite precious to her.
- She never thought she'd be doing something like this again, but it's so important to you, so she's made room in her schedule to welcome them in.
- (She won't be pleased about having to let in any men into the castle that can't be hunted for sport, though. It's already enough of a pain when she's forced to let Moreau and Heisenberg in.)
- Since Alcina is a woman of elegance and class, she will make sure they leave knowing that. Yes, yes, that lovely painting near the entrance is of her daughters. She's quite knowledgeable about art, actually, and dabbles in it herself. Painting, music... She's also quite well-read, in her opinion. She runs her own business and makes the finest wine around, by the way.
- ...She doesn't really ask your parent(s) too much outside of the basics, which is far more than most people get from her.
- The maids have cleaned more than usual, and there (hopefully) aren't any obvious bloodstains anywhere. The places where her winemaking secrets and experiments for Mother Miranda are excluded from the tour.
- Don't worry, the dinner she has served to them is free of human meat and blood.
Bela Dimitrescu:
- The approval of her own family is very important to Bela, so she was deeply appreciative when you made sure to get their approval as well.
- With that being said, she will be looking to do the same when you ask her to meet your parent(s).
- Tell her, what are they like? What should she know? She will be taking notes.
- If you catch her practicing how she'll greet them in the mirror, no, you didn't.
- When the time finally comes to bring Bela down to their home in the village, she's taken the time to clean up her makeup, wipe all the blood off her mouth, and put on a nice dress. You might even call her a little overdressed.
- Her already perfect posture gets impossibly straighter the second the front door opens.
- She's kind of treating this simple lunch as though it's high-class and full of nobles. It's not. She's the only noble there and clearly has no idea how to function in this setting, but you and your parent(s) can appreciate the effort she's making.
