Cinnamon Roll

You left Light in his room asleep. You felt sorry for him but you wanted to try hard to get rid of L for him. You flipped on the Tv and sat down. The news person spoke. "The popular model Misa Amane, more commonly know as Misa Misa was found dead in her hotel this night we are tr-" you flipped off the tv. You just wanted to get away from all the Kira stuff. You walked to Your and Sayu's room. You grabbed the little container of fish flakes and sprinkled some into your fishes tank. You decided to name the fish Light Jr. Light didn't like the name but you told him it was because he won it for you. You smiled at the memory. I wish Light and I had a normal happy life. If only we didn't have the death note we wouldn't be hiding the truth all the time. You weren't tired it was around 9. You walked downstairs and grabbed your jacket. You needed the fresh outside air and just some time to yourself. You slipped outside the house and you felt eyes watching you. You turned to see ryuk hovering behind you. "Ryuk please go back to the house. I want to walk alone." He kept following you. "Why?" He asked. "Just go I want to be alone." You sighed. He laughed. "It's boring back at the house. Light is just sleeping at his desk and nothing is going on" you just wanted to be alone. "If you leave me alone I promise I'll buy you some apples on my way back." He grinned his yellow teeth showing. "Alright" he floated back towards the house. Man he was annoying. You kicked a pebble down the street with your boots and just went wherever your feet took you. You were staring down at the freezing earth when someone pushed you back. "Whaaa?" You said confused. You heard a familiar laugh. "Wow I didn't think I would be seeing you here" you heard a female voice speak. Damn it. It was one of the bullies you had at school. You recognized her right away. "Give me your money. I need to ride the bus home" she said grinning a disgusting smile. "Leave me alone" you pushed past her. She grabbed your jacket hood. "Actually I won't leave you alone. Give me your money now" she said holding a gun towards you. WHAT THE HELL?! I knew she was a bully of mine but really? a gun?! You tried not to look panicked but the gun pointed towards you seemed like it could shoot a hole through you at any moment. "Uh o-ok" you said nervously. "Just let me get my money out". You turned around dug through your bag taking out a sheet of paper. What was her name again?! I need her name if I don't want to die. She won't let me go that easily knowing I saw her point a gun at me. I think her name was katsuko but what about her last name? "Just a moment" you said and you scribbled down various names all over the piece of paper. You wrote a bunch of random last names along with her first name hoping one of them was right. You folded up the paper and put it back in your bag. You grabbed your wallet and handed her the money she needed. She put down the gun and counted it. If all the names I wrote down were wrong I'm screwed. You thought panicking. "Give me an exta 50" she said smiling as she lifted the gun again. "I-I don't have 50" you said shaking. About 10 more seconds. "Well that's unfortunate. "She rested her finger on the trigger. "I've always hated you so much. I can't wait for you t-" she froze and dropped to the ground gasping. It worked! One of the names was hers! She was gasping trying to look up at you. You smirked at her. "Good bye Katsuko." She went limp. That was close. You thought you were dead for sure. Now how am I supposed to get rid of the body without anyone seeing me? It is night time so It could be easy. I can't leave her on the road by lights house. That would be too suspicious. You reached down and grabbed your money from her limp hand and grabbed her arms dragging her down the darkest parts of the road making sure that no one could see you. You laid her in a dark spot by a river and ran to the nearest gas station. I'll just buy a giant bag and sink her in the river with it. But... If L found out I bought a giant bag the night she died there would be no Doubt I would be found out. I need to think of somthing. You skin was crawling and you were scared. How do I hide her body? You were sitting outside the gas station in the back thinking when you felt arms wrap around you. Startled you screamed and a hand quickly covered you moth. "(F/n) it's me" he pulled his hand away from you mouth and you gasped. "Light you almost gave me a heart attack!!" You were so shaken. "Why are you here?" Light asks looking at your worried face. You whispered back. "I need you to help me hide a body." His eyes widened in shock but quickly turned into a smile. "You used the note on a random person?" You shake your head. "No, I'll explain later but if the police find her body I will be put under more suspicion." Lights face turns serious. You didn't even notice Ryuk behind Light. You had a plan. "Ryuk I need you to do a giant favor for me." You look at him with your pleading (e/c) eyes. "What will I get out of it?" He turns to you. "100 more apples" you say shuddering. You didn't mind paying that much. It was better than being found out. His yellow eyes lit up as you remembered you also had to buy him some tonight as you promised him. "What do you need me to do?" He asked. He looked like he was almost drooling when you mentioned the apples. "I need you to hide a body where no one will find it" he laughed his creepy shinigami laugh. "This isn't funny." You say sternly. "Ok ok where is she?" He looks around. " she's down over there by the river" you point in the direction. He floats away laughing. You sighed and grabbed lights hand. "Let's go home. I don't want anything else like this to happen. You were so tired. You nearly fell over. You shut your eyes for a bit and realized light had picked you up and was carrying you bridal style down the road. Your freezing body was pressed against his soft white jacket. You could feel his body heat coming off him. "I woke up in my room a little while ago and couldn't find you. I got worried and searched for you out here." Light says softly. You simply nodded feeling your eyelids drop.

Lights (POV)

I stared down at her limp figure in my arms. The snow was falling so lightly around us. A small crown of snow landed on top of her (h/c) hair. I was so worried she ran away. I don't know what I would have done if she did or got hurt. She was my only company through all of this. I never wanted her to leave me. I sighed a frozen cloud of relief.

We reached the door to my house. I unlocked it with a free hand trying not to disturb (f/n) In my arms. I open the door with my leg and walked upstairs. I gently laid her On the bottom bunk in Sayu's room. I pulled the peach colored blanket over her cold body. I rested the back of my hand over her cheek. She was freezing. I decided to slip into the bed with her since Sayu was at a friends house anyway. I wrapped my arms around her body and pulled her against mine. I felt the cold leave her body to be replaced by warmth. "I love you so much (f/n). Please don't leave me." I whispered and gently kissed her sleeping face.

Your (POV)

You blinked open your eyes to see You were staring directly at light. He had his arm wrapped around you and he looked like he was about to fall off the bed. You warped you arms around his body and pulled him closer to you so he wouldn't fall. When did he come into bed with me? You didn't remember falling asleep in his arms the night before. He looked so peaceful sleeping. He looked almost 5 years younger. You traced your finger against his soft pink lips. You noticed the small scar he had, it was above his right ear. You had totally forgotten that night you given it to him. It felt like ages ago.
You closed your (e/c) eyes and inhaled his scent. His cologne smelled so nice. You wished you could stay in this position by him forever. His brown eyes fluttered open and he yawned. He looked into your (e/c) ones and smiled. "Good morning (f/n)" you smiled back "good morning" he grinned and pressed his mouth to yours. He ran his fingers through your hair as you had yours still wrapped around his chest. The kiss lasted so long. It felt like forever until he finally broke apart. He sat up and pulled you onto his lap. "Let's make some cinnamon rolls together." He smiled at you and picked you up bridal style like he did the night before. "Light you don't have to carry me!" You faked anger. He just quickly kissed you cheek and set you down onto the counter in the kitchen. "Your going to help me with this breakfast do you think you can do it?" He said raising an eyebrow. "Well excuse me I think I could make a better cinnamon roll you could." You said trying to sound like you could but in reality you actually sucked at cooking. "Oh really?" Light laughed. "I haven't seen you make a single meal for yourself besides ramen or frozen pizza." He was right. "That's because you have made all the meals for me or I go out to eat" you say defensively.

He pulled out the flour, eggs, milk and the other ingredients you would need. He added everything into a bowl and you watched him stir everything until it was a think batter. You dipped you finger in and licked the batter off. It was delicious already! As you were still sitting on the counter you pulled off his shirt quickly. "What are you doing?" He said confused. "This" you say as you take a handful of the doughy batter and snack it into his chest. He jumped at your action and stared down at his dripping chest his eyes wide. You were rolling on the counter laughing. "That's what you get for underestimating m-" you felt sticky cold dough rub down your face. You looked at him. He was grinning. He leaned in and licked the dough off your nose. "(F/n) you taste so good" he laughed.
