Alone for Now

Days, weeks, months. It seemed like forever you were kept in these conditions. Always thinking about Light troubled you. He was strong though. He wasn't emotional, he was confident and a good thinker.

'All he is probably thinking about is me.' You thought squeezing your eyes shut.

~flashback~

Lights (POV)

I awoke in a very dark room. My eyelids daring to drop again.

'Wheres (f/n)?' Was the first question that popped into my head. I couldn't freely move as I seemed to be in a chair with my wrists and ankles restrained. I gasped remembering what had happened before. Anger over took me as I thought of the bullet piercing through (f/n's) delicate body.

"SHE DIDNT DESERVE ANY OF THAT SHIT!" I screamed in anger at the empty walls. I continued to yell into the empty room like a madman knowing L was probably watching me. For the first time in forever I actually shed tears. I held them in for so long I couldn't help it. I felt helpless. (F/n) is probably dead and it's those bastards fault. The only Light in my life is gone.

'How can I go on like this?'

Is what I asked myself before passing out.

Your (POV)

Your ankles and wrists were finally freed. Your rubbed the tender skin sighing in relief. It felt to good. Looking to your left you remembered the package. You slid yourself to the edge of the bed and picked up the small square box. It had a small not on it. You read it to yourself quietly.

Dear (f/n)

If you are reading this the doctors have probably unrestrained you. You may see Light Yagami when you would like but understand that we can't let him go. Only come if you can handle it.
Near

You crushed the note in your fist clenching your teeth.

'It's all his fault this happened.'

You shook the package in your hand hearing the thing inside move around. Your ripped open the box to your disappointment to see two dice. They fell into your palm and you stared as they rolled around on your hand. You suddenly screamed and threw them as hard as you could at the Light beside your bed smashing the bulb. The two dice bounced down from the night stand and rolled across the ground with "tapping" noises. Lying down in your bed you stared at the broken glass across from you and sighed knowing the nurses would barge into the room and freak out. Closing your eyes you tried to fall asleep. The last thing you heard was feet coming towards your door and opening it.

Your eyelids fluttered open and you yawned. You went to rub your eyes with your hand but you couldn't?!

"I'm restrained again?" You screamed not caring if people heard you or not. In the corner of your eye you saw a very white figure. Your head whipped to the side to see Near piecing together an all white puzzle.

"You will be coming with me today." Was all he said. He placed a white piece into place with a "clack" sound. "Why?! How long have you been In here?!" You shakily asked him.  "Is Light ok?!" You gasped thinking about him. "Your questions will be answered later. For now you will be coming with me outside today. As much as I don't want to either you have no other choice." He answered placing more pieces into the correct spots. Your eyes twitched at this rude remark. Seconds later a nurse unrestrained you.

"If you try anything you will be restrained again." Near spoke monotonously from the corner of the room. You nodded in his direction even as he wasn't paying any attention.

You were escorted into a shiny black car along with Near and his men. You had no idea where they were taking you but you never wanted to answered Near when he asked you questions. You remembered he was the reason you and Light were in this situation. Your arms were crossed over your chest and you stared out the window for what seemed like forever until the car finally stopped. The building looked quite shady and you honestly had no idea where you were. They opened the door before you allowing you to step into the building. There were many hallways and stairs. Everyone made their way around the building until a door was in the way. The door opened even before anyone had a chance to knock. A old man opened the door and escorted everyone inside. Your jaw dropped open as you saw who sat on the chair inside.

"Greetings (f/n)." Was all said as he stirred his coffee with a spoon. You didn't say anything back as you just stood their unable to speak. You hated them all. Your life was completely ruined because of them.

"Would you like to see Light?" The onyx haired detective asked in also a mocking tone. Your face heated up in anger. "Yes I would actually." You replied in a blunt voice. L shrugged and  pointed towards a screen on the wall in the corner of the room. Their he was in a chair. He looked like he was asleep but his wrists and ankles had dried blood on them probably due to struggling to much against the restraints he had. The sight made you want to vomit.

"GET HIM OUT OF THERE!" You shrieked causing everyone in the room to jump a little except Near. "He's hurt and bleeding! He's suffering! I swear we did nothing wrong. He was just trying to defend me!" You yelled once more your lip quivering. L turned towards you and pushed his face surprisingly close to yours.

"If your going to have an attitude like this I'm afraid you won't be able to see him right now." His breath tickling your face. You were slight shaking. "How can I see him now anyways?! He's asleep and bloody! How you do expect me to see him now!" You whined at him. He backed up and turned back to his coffee.

"I suppose your right." The detective blinked. "Come back another day." You stared at him in disbelief. "No I'm staying here." You stubbornly crossed your arms and narrowed your (f/c) eyes at him. He smirked back a little. "You can stay here for now then." L said actually surprising you. "She isn't supposed to stay here, sh-" near began but L cut him off. "The plan had changed." Near shrugged showing no emotion. "If you insist." You didn't realize L was going through a drawer and pulled out a familiar thing you dreaded.

'Oh god not this again' you thought mentally punching him in the face.
