Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

One more stop

You squinted as the helicopter came down from above and landed onto the landing. The blades whirled quickly and it was so loud you couldn't hear anything else besides the buzz. You gripped lights hand tight as L escorted you and Light onto the Helicopter. L stepped out and watch you and light from the window with his hands in his pockets.

'You would expect him to pay us back somehow for putting us all through that long hell.' You thought sighing. The helicopter pilot nodded to you both and you were suddenly rising into the air. Your hands shook and excitement flooded all through you. This was what you had been dreaming about for so long.

Home.

You rested against Lights shoulder and your eyelids dropped. You were pretty exhausted and you felt safe knowing it was all over.

"(F/n).... Wake up we are here." lights voice broke through your dreamless sleep. You stretched your arms out in front of you and looked out the window. The helicopter was landed on top of a building. The pilot helped you I and light out and led you both to a door which led down stairs. Apparently the helicopter had landed on the top of the hotel you both were staying at.

You and light went up to the front desk where a nice looking woman waited.

The woman gave you both two room cards as L had rented the hotel room for you both. The hotel was gorgeous. Marble Floors, statues, lots of beautiful glass, and even a piano in the lobby that seemed as though it played by itself. A woman in a nice uniform even offered you both champagne but you both turned it down.

You stepped into the glass elevator with Light. While going up to your floor the view of the downstairs lobby was beautiful.

You reached your room and swiped the cards and opened the door. Your mouth gaped open and Lights did also. The room was gorgeous. It almost seemed like a room a king and queen would stay in with a king sized  bed a huge bathroom and a big living room like room. Immediately you raced to the bed and jumped on it like a child. Light smiled.

"Come one Light! Have some fun! It's bee so long since we have done anything fun!" You laughed and him. He sighed and shrugged. You looked at you his brown eyes sparkling for the first time in forever. He stood on top of the bed and before he could even jump you tackled him onto his back. The bed made a loud noise and you laughed really hard. You suddenly had a evil plan. You gave an innocent smile to him and then started to tickle him to death. He was very ticklish and would sometimes yell if you wouldn't stop. HE flailed frantically until almost falling off the bed but he caught himself before he could fall.

"Oh so you want to be fun?" He smirked. Your eyes widened for a second and then you blushed. He then pinned you onto your back and you gasped in surprise.

"What should we do tonight (f/n)? We could have a little fun but that's up to you." He smiled down into your (e/c) eyes. You knew what he meant and you nodded your best red head. He smiled back. He then crashed his lips onto yours, his hands on your cheeks. You felt his tongue explore your mouth and you gasped as you ran out of breath. You snaked your arms around his neck.

"I love you so much (f/n) please don't ever leave me." He whispered through the kiss.

"I would never leave you." You replied.

In the morning you awoke. You were curled up against lights warm body. He was still sleeping as usual. As he always did to you in the past you wrapped your arms around his body and breathed in his scent. Before you both went to bed last night he showered. He smelled so good. The soap in the hotel was luxury.

He stirred and blinked open his eyes. You smiled at him and gave him a little kiss on the lips. He smiled back and sat up.

"Today we go home. We need to catch a bus or train." You nodded excitedly yet tiredly. You yawned and stretched your arms above your head. "Your so cute (f/n)" Light said making you freeze while your arms will still in the air. "I am not!" You blush deeply. "Are we back to the (f/n) that stayed at my house with me?" Light smirk. You couldn't keep a straight face a smiled. You remember hating him but you didn't remember why. You decided to push off the past thought and get dress for the good day ahead of you. You showed in the million Dollar bathroom and got ready.

You both got onto a bus around 10:00 and waited for the 30 min ride. It has been so long being in public with him you almost forgot girls stared at him always. It always made you uneasy but he never paid any attention to them which made you happy. One girl even snuck a picture of him which was really frickin awkward for everyone.

Once the bus was at the right location you both exited the bus and started to walk home. You were both so close you could hardly walk straight. The walk home made it feel like nothing had happened and Kira didn't exist. Light grabbed ahold of your hand and walked  closer to you. Light asked you to not talk about the past events with him. Especially the ones where you almost died. You gladly agreed as you never wanted to talk about that either.

"Let's just forget everything that ever happened involving the Kira case ok?" Light said. You nodded. It was going to be like starting fresh.

You continued to talk with him until you saw a glimpse of lights house and practically ripped his arm out of its socket running at full speed to his house.

"(F/n)?! Slow down!"

Light knocked on the door since he didn't have a key. L had informed Lights parents that he would be arriving home today. After a few moments a familiar woman answered the door and cried when see saw you both. She hugged Light tightly and then you.

"I knew you both were coming back today but I was just so worried all this time!" She spoke. Light held the door as you entered the house that seemed like a dream. You gazed around and looked at everything until you felt 2 arms embrace you.

"(F/n) I missed you so much!! It was so boring without you here!!" Saya Burst out.

"What about me? I'm your brother!" Light asked his sister. She laughed at him. "I missed you too light!" And she embraced him as well.

The rest of the day was perfect. Lights mother took everyone out for dinner to celebrate you both coming back. Eating amazing food and being with anyone, it was amazing. Until later that night when Mrs. Yagami had some terrible news to share.
