Lights (POV)

Again I loudly pounded the door with my fist. "(F/N)?!" I yelled so loud it felt as though the very group shook after not answering I rammed my body against the door. It didn't budge. I did again and again. My whole right ride of my body felt bruised but I didn't care. As much as I didn't want L's helped I screamed for him. "Yes Light? Is something the matter?" Came a voice from behind me making me jump. I quickly turned to see L with his white hands in his pockets.

"OPEN THIS DOOR NOW." I demanded. He seemed a little shocked I yelled towards him but he unlocked the door. I burst through the door. My head swinging left and right. She wasn't in the room so I turned to the small bathroom. The door was locked. I tried pounding on it but L stopped me and unlocked it for me. I burst in. Then I saw her. Motionless under the bath water completely naked. Without thinking I thrust my arms into the bathtub and and pulled her out and laid her on the cold bath floor. My mouth dropped open as I noticed blood coming from around her temple area.

'She hit her head.'

I frantically attempted as I saw she wasn't breathing. It wasn't working I was doing it wrong. I started to get desperate until L pushed me away quite hard. I watched in shock as L pressed his lips to (f/n's) in a CPR position. Watching his lips on hers made me angry. She was mine. I was deep in thought when I suddenly heard coughing. I looking towards the noise to see (f/n) vomiting bath water into the bathroom floor.she coughed some more and this time it was my turn to push L. I cupped her cheek in my hand and looked into her dazed (e/c) eyes.

Your (POV)

You shakily opened your eyes. Your vision was a little blurry but you could make out a person just inches from your face. You were cold and felt wet. The side of your head throbbed uncontrollably.

"Your alive..." Came a familiar voice. You wanted to rub the blurryness from your eyes but you felt to weak. "What happ..." You tried to speak cause you to cough up some more water.

"L go get 2 towels. A large one and a small one." You heard a voice say. You felt your body being lifted off a cold floor onto a soft mattress. Your vision cleared and you saw Light lift the covers over you.

"What happened?" You asked in a shaken voice. You heard him sigh. "You hit your head and nearly died drowning in the bath tub." Your heart pounded and your body got hot.

'I almost died.' You thought surprised.

You turned into your side and stared at the wall unblinking. A sharp sting shocked through your head and you yelped sitting up. You looked down and saw a stain on blood on your pillow. You slowly reached your fingers to that side of your head. You pulled your hand away after touching the tender spot slightly to see red liquid coat your fingers.

"I'm bleeding!" You yelled towards Light. Before he could answer Ryuzaki came into the room and handed Light two towels. Light quickly took the small one and pressed it to the side of your throbbing head. You winced and bit your lip bearing the pain. The he took the big towel and wrapped it around your naked body and shoulders to soak up and moisture. You didn't realize you wear naked till he rubbed to towel on your legs. You quickly pulled the towel and covers around your body and covered almost your whole body. Lights eye twitched. "Ryuzaki get out now." He bluntly spoke towards the detective.

"Are you sure Light? She was just nearly killed." Ryuzaki spoke and Light clenched his teeth. "Just go." Ryuzaki seemed a little sad but left anyways. Your head seemed to stop bleeding so you decided to lie your head down again but then you heard sniffing noises. You turned slightly and saw Light Sitting on the other end of the bed. His head was in his hands and he was slouched over. "Are you ok Light?" You asked confused. He didn't answer. All you continued to hear was long sighs and deep breaths in.

"I've tried to protect you but I always almost end up losing you. You have been hung, shot, and now this. One day something is going to happen and" he took a deep breath in. "I'm not going to be there to save you and you will leave me." He said in a shaky voice. "This is all my fault. I left you alone and this happened." He continued to blame himself till you couldn't stand it. With the towel still wrapped around yourself you made your way across the bed on your knees and leaned against him. You knew he didn't like crying in front of you but you didn't care. He had gone through a lot honestly and you also felt really bad for him. You wrapped your shivering arms around him to comfort him. "Just think Light. After tomorrow... We will be home."
