Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

Distraction

"Handcuffs really?!" You practically wined. The detectives black hair shook as he nodded towards you.

"You were with light when he was killing off the criminals. We don't know what you might try." He said holding out his pale hand towards yours. You held out yours towards him wincing as he securely clicked the cuffs onto your wrist. You slumped your head looking down towards your feet. L adjusted the the other cuff on his own wrist for the second time. You heard him sigh quietly while putting them on. He didn't like it as much as you did. He told Near and his men to leave. They left you alone with this freak.

'Wow this is awkward'

"Tell me everything you know about Light being Kira right now." L broke the awkward silence only to make it now an angry silence as you said nothing. You still stared at your feet as he stared at you. His charcoal eyes burning into your skull. The chain rattled as he stepped closer to you. With one his cold hands he tilted your chin up so you would look into his abyss like eyes.

"Are we going to have to get it out of you the hard way?" He spoke almost like he was planning something. It didn't really sound like something he would say but you ignored him. There was nothing he could do to you as you had already lost everything you loved.

"I don't care anymore Ryuzaki. I could die for all I care." You said in a low tone. Your hair covered your darkened face. Ryuzaki frowned at your state. "Your not ok." He said sounding more like himself. You shrugged. "Well how would you be If you saw someone you loved locked up for something they didn't do?" L scratched his thick black hair as it looked like he was pretending to think. "I wouldn't like it but you see..

There is no one who loves me."

His dark eyes turned to the blank wall. His words hit you in the heart a little.

"I loved you Ryzaki. As a friend I did, when Light was helping you catch Kira. When you died I was sad." You looked up slightly seeing him look at the floor. You swore you saw something drop to the floor from his face. You looked away. A shadow appeared over you as Ryuzaki stood over you looking down.

"What does it feel like to love someone?" He asked looking down at your terrified face. You jumped back slightly as he was getting a little to close. "well-um it's kinda hard to explain..." You lied hoping he would get off the subject.

'This is really weird'

"Would you mind if I kissed you?" He asked almost in a shy manor. Your head shot up. Your face got extremely red with anger and embarrassment.

"NO YOU MAY NOT! IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ALREADY I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" You yelled at him but instantly regretting it as soon as you saw him sulk back away from you.

"I understand. I shouldn't have pushed your feelings forgive me." He answered. L walked towards his computer screens causing you to be pulled along with him due to the chain. He sat in a chair a sat in his usual way. You stared at his unmoving figure for what seemed like forever.

"I'm sorry for shouting at you." Without even thinking you planted a kiss on his cold cheek. He reached a slender hand up to where you kissed him and touched it.

"So this is what it feels like. To be In love." He softly said.

Your heart dropped into the pits of your stomach.

'No way. He can't love me! How could he?!' Your mind was swirling. You bit your lip as you felt your heart pounding out of your chest. You didn't know what to say. You didn't even realize that he had gotten off the chair and was now standing in front of you. He was actually quite attractive. You never really realized it till now. His white skin and his dark eyes and hair. He was like a dark angel.

'WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING. IM WITH LIGHT' you smacked your self in the face making Ryuzaki raise his eyebrows. "Don't hit yourself." He said grabbing your wrist. Lost in the moment you again said nothing but just stared at him. Before you knew it he pressed his lips to yours.

You closed your eyes. You were desperate for love at the moment. You missed Light kissing you, you missed him calling you cute names, you missed cuddling with him on the bed. You accepted this kiss from Ryuzaki and closed your eyes pretending you were kissing Light. As horrible as it sounded you were trying to distract yourself from all the sadness. You opened you eyes a little, your lips still moving with L's when you noticed Lights body in the chair on the screen. Your (e/c) eyes sparked and you instantly broke away from the black haired man. You panted for a few moments before you spoke.

"Ryuzaki. I'm with Light." You said quietly. He slowly nodded. "I've just never kissed anyone before. It felt nice." He spoke. You couldn't help it. You broke down and cried into your sleeves. Ryuzaki looked at you with his mouth open. He looked like he felt bad for you.

"It's because of Light isn't it?"
He asked. As much as you didn't want to admit it at the moment you nodded. And the kiss L had given you kind of upset you. You felt guilt. Lots and lots of guilt.

'Did I cheat?'

"I-I'm sorry for c-crying." You gasped through your tears." He shook his head. "Why feel sorry for crying? All humans do." He replied. Your wet eyes widened as you remembered when Light used to say that. You managed to wipe your wet face dry and calm down.

"Let me see Light now." You spoke after composing yourself. He nodded. "But I will be in there with you also." He stated. Your heart dropped again.

'He won't bring up the kiss right?' You worriedly though. That would feel like a knife to the heart if Light ever found out.

'But he won't find out.'
