Stone walls

(Le 2 week time skip)

You made a giant mistake killing Katsuko (the bully). Her body was never found but she was missing and everyone at your school noticed. There was a news report about it and L watched it very closely.

L's (POV)

I sat in a red velvet chair re watching the same news story over and over. This is another step closer. I thought plucking the red berry from the white frosting off the small cake and popping it into my mouth. With her missing this must mean she's dead or decided to run away for some unquestionable reason. People say she bullied countless kids at her school. It's odd. She attends the same university light and (f/n) attend too. I have no choice but to bring them in for questioning. I switched off the tv pushing another tape into it. This tape was about Misa Amane's death. She died of a heart attack the very night the other girl went missing. Very strange. I bit my thumb and continued watching. "She was an amazing model and will be dearly missed. People are all ready making her cards to put around her grave som-" I turned off the tv and quickly replace the tape with lights tape of his room. I fixed my eyes on the video. Nothing seemed suspicious. I watched him pull out some sort of book from a spot under his dresser. Could this be some sort of evidence? He held it under his arm and walked to his bed lying down and starting to read it. It was scandalous. He was reading porn? I mean I can't question this behavior. He is 18. I did strange things at 18 also....

Your (POV)

You were playing old maid with Sayu at the living room table. She placed down her final card making you frown. "I guess this means I win!" She says laughing. You laughed with her "yep."

You walked into lights room. He was sitting at his desk quickly writing down names. "The cameras are all gone." He said continuing to write. "That's a relief" you sigh. He closed the book and placed it slowly in his desk drawer. "Our biggest threat right now is L we need him gone. Once he is out of our way we are free ." He settled back into his desk chair causing it to squeak. "I could always do the eye deal? I mean if I did we could easi-" light slammed his fist onto the desk causing him to cut you off. He then spun his chair to face you. His face dark. "Do you really think I'm going to let you waste half your life over some stupid guy?" You shrunk back. "It was just a suggestion...." He leaned towards you his lips in an angry snarl. "Don't ever bring that subject up to me." And with that he spun back around and grabbed his homework and started working on it. Although his attitude was bizarre you still loved him.

You returned down stairs noticing Sayu watching her favorite drama on tv with that famous guy 'Hideki Ryuuga?' Was it? You rolled your eyes at her brainwashed face and giggled walking into the kitchen.

Lights mom was sweeping the wooden floor. "Do you need any help?" You asked her smiling. "Honey you don't need to help if you don't want. You are our guest." She winked at you. "No I insist" you say picking up a sponge. "Your very sweet (f/n)" she says with a smile.

You finished cleaning the already spotless home with her and rested. The clock said 6. You decided to take Sayu out for dinner.

You both headed out. You texted Light letting him know so he wouldn't go looking for you again.

"Thank you (f/n) for taking me out to eat!" Sayu said with her mouth stuffed with food. "It's no problem" you answer taking a sip of your drink. "Light used to things with me until his stupid homework and school took over him." She bit into her slice of pizza. "Yeah Lights a busy Guy" you agree. 'Yeah. Busy killing people' You think.

All of a sudden arms wrap around you and grab your own pinning them behind your back and a blindfold is tied around your eyes. "What the hell?!" You scream at the person holding you. You struggle trying to be freed from the tight grip. You hear Sayu scream "Let (f/n) go! Please let her go! Your scaring us!." You could picture her eyes watering. You were making a big scene in the restaurant. "Miss please stop struggling and come with us." You hear a heavy voice say. You feel handcuffs tighten around your wrists as you were carried away. You were terrified. You started having a panick attack and breathing heavily. "Where am I?!" You shout. You were obviously in a car by the movement. "You are a suspect of Kira and we are taking you in for questioning." A new voice says. It's a good thing your eyes were covered or they would of seen your eyes widen. You just nod and stay silent the ride there." You were pushed into probably a small cell. You felt yourself around with your feet so you could sit. You then heard a scratchy voice come from a machine.

"(F/n) this is L. do you know why your here?" You nod at the unfamiliar sounding voice. "You think I'm Kira right?" You ask. "That's correct" the synthetic voice answers. "I'm currently keeping you along with Light Yagami here until we find out the truth. Will you admit to being Kira? If you Lie it will make things a lot harder for you." Light was here too?? Dammit. You shake your head. "I'm not Kira. I swear to god you got this all wrong. I would NEVER kill anyone I swear." You say panicked. "I see" is the only answer that comes from the machine. You feel the blindfold being removed from your head. A young gentle man took it off and smiled at you. Were they letting me go? Was it that easy?

"As I said before you will be staying with us until we can confirm if you and Light are Kira. I have removed your blindfold just so you can see but other than that your wrists and ankles will restrained." L speaks into the microphone. "I'm very sorry about this (f/n)" the man who removed your blindfold cuffs your ankles together. Shit. And I thought I was going to be released.

L's (POV)

I watch both the video screens. Lights father was having a mental breakdown behind me. We have him also go behind bars at his request. I watched Light on the black and white screen. He just lied on the stone flooring occasionally tossing and turning for a most comfortable posture. He already stated multiple times he wasn't Kira. (F/n) as well. Only after about 3 weeks they both were threatening to kill themselves. It had to be an act. The real Kira would never kill himself....

Your (POV)

Being here for 3 weeks is enough. I couldn't take it anymore. You put on your act saying you would kill youself if they kept you here any longer. You were quite believable. I have to get rid of the notebook. Ryuk has sat in your cell the past 3 weeks annoying the hell out of you. He would go between you and light. You whispered to him hoping the L wouldn't understand what you were saying. "Please. Please get rid of it." You stared daggers into Ryuks eyes and he nodded seeming to understand what you meant. Light had it all planned out if something like this happened. He has probably don't the same already. You then heard the voice though the machine again. "Get rid oc what (f/n)?" You suddenly passed out falling towards the cold stone ground.

L's (POV)

I watched as (f/n) said something about 'getting rid of it'. What did she mean? I leaned towards the microphone and asked her what she meant. She then swayed and immediately dropped towards the floor. My eyes widened. The same thing happened with Light a few moments ago. Could this be a trick?

Your (POV)

You weakly strained to open your eyes a little. You were in a cell? You tried to stretch your sore limbs but your arms and legs were restrained. You started freaking out. "WHERE AM I?!" You screamed forgetting everything about the death note and your killings along side Light. You started thrashing against the ground. Was this some sort of sick prank?! "WHERE THE HELL AM I?LET ME GO!" You screamed out into the tiny cell. You started panicking causing you to vomit.

L's (POV)

What? They both fell unconscious but right as they awoke they acted as if they had no idea where they were. I pressed the button on the microphone allowing me to speak to both suspects. "You are both being held here as you were suspected of both being Kira." I bit into my cake awaiting an answer. They both yelled almost at the same time. "What?! I'm not Kira I swear! What proof do you have! Why would I be Kira!" They went on and on. I sighed. This might be tricky. "Ryuzaki you might want to see this.." I heard Matsuda's voice. He flipped on a tv station and I listened. "4 more crimals were found dead due to heart attacks. Kira is at it again." The news reporter goes on. I drop my fork in shock. "Another Kira?" Matsuda looks at me worry all over his face. "No it can't be!" Either Light and (f/n) really weren't Kira or there is another. Dammit.

(Sorry this chapter didn't really have any light x reader in it but I needed to move the story forward! And by the way the rest of the story isn't going to be based off the anime. This is one of the only scenes I'm using in the anime :) thanks for reading! I'll be sure to update soon!)
