Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

The hard way

"(F-fn)?" Light asked in a shaky voice looking up at your limp body on top of his eyes wide. He suddenly jumped up and grabbed onto your body shaking you violently.

"WAKE UP DAMMIT!!" He screamed. Actual tears sprung into his eyes threatening to spill. He stopped when he felt wetness on his chest. He touched his palm to his suit to see his hand covered in Crimson.

'She was shot.'

Your blood was slowly soaking into his once perfect suit. He feel to his knees again screaming for you to wake up. Of course your eyes remained closed. He quickly pressed his head to your chest. Not hearing a heartbeat he attempted CPR. Everyone else watched shocked except Near who found his puzzle more entertaining.

He pressed his warm lips to your cold ones breathing into your body. He pressed on your chest until you coughed up blood in his face. He jumped in surprised but instantly hugged you. His tears ran down his face finally making small stains on your dress.

"I-I thought..." He tried to speak through his chocking. Your memory was fuzzy and you still didn't really know what was going on. You again fell unconscious falling limp in his arms.

"LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!! SHE COULD OF DIED YOU BASTARDS! HOW DARE YOU SHOOT AT HER?!" He yelled pointing at Aizawa directly. "I THOUGHT WE TRUSTED EACH OTHER?!" He continued to scream beating his fists against the concrete until they were bloody. Everyone just watched this fit of his happen.

"Matsuda and Aizawa, please take (f/n) to a hospital." Near said clicking a piece of his puzzle in place with a satisfying "clack". The two police men nodded stepping towards Light and your motionless body.

The brunette instantly grabbed your body in his arms again shielding you. "Your not going to tou-" he began until a syringe was injected into the back of his neck. His grip on your body didn't loosen even after he fell forwards unconscious revealing Near sitting behind him with an empty syringe.

His body landed on the cold floor motionless. His arms still wrapped around you.

"I guess we had to do this the hard way." Near stated twirling a white piece of his hair.

The police carried you and Light into their Car. You were driven immediately to a hospital while Light was taken some where else. Your wound didn't stop bleeding as you had a bullet hole in your stomach. The car was soaked with it. Luckily L managed to bandage you in the car a little. You were rushed into a hospital room. They performed a little surgery.

A bright light blinded your vision. You tried to open your eyes but the room was just to white. Squinting you managed to adjust your eyes to the room. It was a hospital room. You slowly tried to sit up wincing in pain. You looked down. You were in a white hospital gown.

'Why am I here?' You thought your mind fuzzy. 'Wait.. Were is Light?!' You mentally panicked whipping you head back and fourth around the room searing for any sign of your boyfriend. You tried to get up a little more causing you to let out a small gasp. Something was not right. Your mind just adjusted you had restraints on your wrists and ankles.

"What is going on?!" You yelled panicking tried to struggle under the restraints. A nearby nurse hurried into the room after hearing your voice. "Ah your awake!" She beamed at your terrified face. "Where am I and why am I here?!" You quickly asked sweating. "That isn't for me to tell you I'm sorry. But I do have someone who is willing to explain the situation." The nurse replied opening the door to let a very white boy come in. It was just him. Your pupils shrunk noticing who he was.

"You put me here! Get me out I didn't do anything wrong! Why don't you believe me!! Where is Light?! Is he hurt?!" You screamed at Near hoping desperately he would answer. You clutched the white bed sheets waiting. His figure walked to your bed.

"Miss (f/n) you are in a hospital because you were shot. Light is fine but he will suffer the consequences of playing "god". His black eyes narrowed.

"Playing god?!" You gasped at his words. Ignoring you he continued to talk. "You will be kept In a mental hospital for awhile. You attempted suicide. We can't bring you anywhere just yet. Please understand." The albino finished. The Light of the hospital window streamed through onto his hair making it glow. "Light Yagami will spend the rest of his Life in jail. As for you... You need mental help and we can't exactly arrest you as we don't have evidence you actually killed anyone." Near said. Breaking down you closed your eyes and cried. You cried until it seemed there was nothing left in you. You finally stopped at stared at the ceiling. "C-can I visit him?" You asked in a shaky voice. Near surprisingly nodded. "Once you are in a better state and can handle it."

'Will see him. No matter how long it takes we will have a happy end' your thoughts swirled in your head lulling you to sleep. Near left the room leaving something on the stand near your pillow.

A few days passed until you woke again. The medication they made you take made you sleep. You groggily opened your (e/c) eyes. Every single time you woke in the hospital room you freaked out but then you would always remember. Only just recently had you noticed a package placed on your bed stand. It had a small note attached to it. You wanted so badly to see who it was from.

'What if it was from light and he some how escaped?!'

Your wrists were very sore from the restraints constantly rubbing on them. A nurse would come in the room three times a day to feed you and give you water.

'Suicide would have been a better idea than this' you thought sighing.
