Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

Insane

Light pressed the knob on the watch 4 times until a compartment opened. He took out a sharp needle and pressed into him thumb drawing dark red blood he carefully wrote a few of the names on the sheet with the blood. I hope it's one of these names.. He thought squinting his eyes at his messy writing. He waiting 40 long seconds before going leaving the room to see (f/n) and to see if L had died. He made his way to where L was and to his disappointment L sat on his chair sucking on a strawberry while (f/n) stood beside him. Light wanted to snap at him or hurt him. Why can't he just die already?! He angrily thought.

"Oh hello light. Your face looks like your mentally planning my death." L spoke looking at light. The brunette didn't even notice how he was looking at L. All he could think about was writing the next names.

He fake laughed at The detectives comment "and why would I do that?" L shrugged. "You should be the one telling me that. Your the one who wants me dead." Lights laugh stopped. " I thought we weren't suspected anymore." Light said looking at you. L turned around again in his hair. "I was only making a joke." The brown haired man then spoke up. "We shouldn't be joking in this case it's serious." He reminded him. The raven haired man nodded back and then ruffled your hair. "I wonder why I ever thought you were a serial killer." You nervously laughed back. "Y-yeah."

L smiled a little. His smile suddenly disappeared as he dropped his plate of cake on the floor. The plate shattered causing you and light to jump back. He then also dropped onto the floor. It all felt like it was going in slow motion.

Your (POV)

You watched silently as L swayed a little and fell out of his chair onto the ground. You gasped along with Light. "Ryuzaki are you ok?!" Light screamed at him. You watched as L's dark eyes closed. "Ryuzaki?!" You screamed at him. Watari then rushed in and picked up L. He was surprising strong for an older man. He quicky left the room holding the motionless L and left you and Light in the room along with a few of the speechless Police.

"RYUZAKI WHAT THE HELL." Light broke down in front of everyone. "DONT SCARE US. DONT YOU DARE LET KIRA GET YOU THAT EASILY." He banged his fists on the wall. You and Light didn't even know if L had died but by the looked of it it seemed he had a heart attack in front of you and light. You shed a few tears and sank to your knees. "Ryuzaki please be ok." You whisper loud enough for eveyone to hear you. Did we win. Was one of the names actually his?

Lights (POV)

What?! Impossible! If he's dead how did he die?! It couldn't have been me. He would have died like 5 minutes ago... Well anyways if he is dead I guess that means that we've won!

My mind raced with what was happening. I continued my act in front of my father and the other members. (F/n) was also. I continued my screaming until my father had to drag me away.

Your (POV)

Everyone sat with their heads in their hands awaiting news about L. Light was in his room probably mentally celebrating. Matsuda wrapped his around around your shoulders noticing your fake tears. "Let's all pray he's alright."everyone nodded. Lights father had come back from Lights room and sat down with everyone else his head down. They continued to wait while you got up and returned to your room to see Light sitting on the end if the bed his body bent forward and his his head hanging. His brown bangs covered his eyes and you saw a small smirk slowly spread across his face. "We've won (f/n)."

For the first time in a Long time. You felt bad. You felt bad for L. Yes he was ruining you and lights plan but that was his job wasn't it? He wasn't even that bad of a guy. You felt an actual tear carve it's way down your cheek. Your hair covered your eyes. Light bent his head back and glanced his crazy eyes at you. "Your crying? Wasn't this what you want?" You wiped your wet face with your hand. "I'm not crying." As much as it hurt your forced a smile on your face. "Yes you are. You can't lie to me." He said sternly. You kept your eyes on the floor. "It'd just that... He was just doing his job. Couldn't we of just gotten free of suspicion isn't that enough? Why did you have to kill him." Your face heated up. Lights eyes widened. "Your the one who told me to kill him (f/n) and I honestly don't even think it was me." You scowled at him. "Don't say that. I already feel like shit about it."  You then clawed at your face with your nails. "Am I evil Light?! Have you turned me crazy?!" He roughly grabbed your wrists and forced them away from your face. "We aren't crazy. He was trying to stop us from making a beautiful world. Don't you want to live with me in a world free of rotten people?!" He yelled. It seemed like time  had stopped. You both stood there. A little blood trickled down your cheek from your scratching. He leaned in and kissed your bloodied cheek getting blood on his lips. You watched him as he licked his blood stained lips in shock.

"I love you but your crazy." You say quietly as you crawl into bed and pull the covers over your head. In some strange way you wished L lived. After thinking about everything you had done after meeting light , all the kills you had done you sobbed into your pillow. All this would of never happened if you didn't help light in the first place. You had a small idea in your head and hoped light would agree if you asked him. You cried yourself to sleep while Light laid by you listening to your crying.

The next morning the Light shone though the bulletproof windows onto your face. You blinked your eyes open and stared at the wall bringing back everything that happened the night before you sat up and noticed your pillow was spotted with blood from your face and that light was gone. "light?" You called hoping he was down the hall or in a nearby room. No one answered. You got dressed and brushed your teeth and made your way to HQ. it was again silent.
You noticed Light eating a bowl of cereal one of the white tables. You didn't really want to talk to him at the moment. He glanced at you but he must of sensed what you were thinking because he didn't say anything. Mastuda sat with him with a muffin in on the plate in front on him untouched.

Is L dead? Did he really die?

I hoped he lived because if he does live Light and I aren't even suspected anymore so he's not a threat anymore right? You thought apparently there wasn't any news yet but Watari said he would inform everyone if anything happened. When some of the members saw you they stared at your scratched face. Shit I wish I didn't do that. You angrily thought.

Cheif Yagami then entered the the room his face grim and clouded.

"L is dead."

L's (POV)

Faking my death... This will interesting. But it might also bring Kira out of hiding. I bit into my chocolate donut watching everyone on cameras and frowned. "I feel bad." I quietly said to myself.
