Goddess (end)

"I'm very sorry (f/n)..." Mrs Yagami said toward you. You froze scared of what she would say next.

"Your parents have died." She said trying to hold back tears. She reached out to hold your hand. You stared into the distance in shock.

"W-why? H-how?" You stuttered also trying to hold back your tears. "What I heard was that someone broke into your house and shot them both in the night." She said quietly. You covered your moth with you hand and Let out a loud cry. Sure you haven't seen them much but they were still your parents. They had taken care of you since birth. You had so many great memories with them. Light was not in the room because his mother thought you should have your privacy.

"W-was is Kira?" You asked though your tears. Mrs. Yagami shrugged. She felt sorry for you and places her hand on your back in comfort. After you finished crying you decided to go up to Lights bedroom. Of course he was there. Writing an essay or something. You flopped onto his bed and gave a loud sad sigh.

"I'm sorry about your parents (f/n). It must feel terrible...." He said. You didn't answer. It was silent for a little while until he sat up from his chair and came towards to sit on the bed beside you.

"You could live here with us forever you know? Well until we move out and get our own house when we are married." He said. Your eyes shot open.

"M-Married?" You shakily asked. Your whole body shook as well. You took your face out of the bed covers and turned towards Light to see him holding an small open box with a precious ring in it.

"Will you marry me (f/n)?" You smiled at you. His brown eyes held so much warmth and comfort. Tears automatically spring into your (e/c) eyes and you tackled him into a giant hug.

"Yes!" You screamed. He hugged you back.

"I'm the happiest person alive right now." Light whispered into your ear. You embraced him tighter. You didn't want to let go. But you finally did because you were tired and needed rest from the long day. You both changed into soft clothes and snugged up against each other. His face only centimeters from yours. In the dark you could still make out every detail on his face. You both feel asleep quickly.

The next morning light was up before you which was kind of unusual. Rubbing your eyes you hopped out of his bed and made your way to the nearest bathroom. You did your business and washed your hands. In the mirror you noticed the cut on your temple that you had got only a few days ago. You decided to ignore it and go down stairs. As you walked towards the kitchen an amazing scent made you partly dash. Light was making a huge breakfast for everyone. You smiled. You missed him making breakfast.

"Good morning (F/n)" he practically sung witch  took you by surprise.

"Good morning Light." You answered tiredly but tiredly but carefully. You heard foot steps behind you and turned to see lights mother.

"Light! You made breakfast?" She beamed. The brunette just replied with a smile. Sayu then came down to the kitchen as well and everyone ate. The food was so good you almost forgot about the accident with your parents.

'I need to live in the present.' You told yourself. You decided to not think about your parents death to avoid sadness and instead focus on the present and future. You blushed and smiled widely when you remembered Light proposing.

Later that day you decided to relax. You l were spread out on lights bed and you just thought about random things. You heard lights door click open but didn't bother turning to face Light because you were pretty lazy at the moment.

"Come on (f/n), I want to take you somewhere." You turned your head towards him and gave him a questioning look. You went with him anyways and left the house. He grabbed a bag before leaving which made you question where he was taking you.
Outside wasn't to cold. It was mid spring so flowers were blooming and the air smelled so nice. You both walked along the sidewalk for awhile holding hands. You both passed some stores and restaurants. He led you past the city and came to an open country area. There was a pebble trail that you both walked on. It led through a forest of beautiful Sakura trees. You couldn't help but gaze in amazement and the beautiful trees. Spring was so beautiful. The walking continued for a couple more minutes until Light stopped under a giant Sakura trees on a nice grassy hill. He motioned for you to join him under it and you did. You both say under the tree as he slid his hand into his bag and pulled out a big blanket and two bags. He had planned a picnic. You loved picnics. You remembered dreaming about having picnics with him when you were both gone. As he was opening the bags you surprise hugged him causing him to drop one of the bags in surprise.

"Thank you so much light!" You said to him your (e/c) eyes filled with happiness. His face held a shocked expression for a half second until it turned to a small smile.

"It's all for you." He said as his planted a quick kiss on your soft lips.

He had made sandwiches and baked goods plus he had even brought some lemonade. Sakura petals swirled down around you two as you ate Light's meal. He plucked some flowers from the grass beside him and wove them together. You watched his fingers move quickly and before you knew it he had finished. An Adorable flower crown which he planted on top of your soft (h/c) hair.

"Someday we can rule the world again my goddess." He whispered kissing your forehead and placing a folded up paper in your hand.

I can't believe this story is over but stories all have to end at some point! I couldn't write this forever! :(( ahh it makes me so sad! But thank you so much for 21k reads! When I first started this story in late August I never thought I would have that many! Thank you all!
