Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

Honesty

Light was blindfolded and taken to a small room. You tagged along of course confident you both would be set free. L hooked him up to a strange machine you had never seen before. You knew it was a lie detector and you knew it was your idea you had just never seen one actually in person.

"Alright. I'm going to ask you some questions. If your lying I will be able to tell so I was advise you tell the truth." The detective said wrapping a cord around lights chest. Light nodded and rolled his eyes. "Let's begin" L switched on the detector.

"Let's start from the beginning shall we?" The brunette raised an eyebrow and shrugged.

"Did you kill Raye Penber?" L questioned. Light blinked and was silent for about a second. "No I did not." He answered quite confidently. The onyx haired man peered at the machine out of the corner of his eyes. His heart dropped in major disappointment.

"Is something the matter Ryuzaki?" Light smirked at the Confused L. "No. Nothing at all. Let's continue."

L wouldn't let you see the results as he was questioning Light which bothered you. You were only able to hear the questions and answers. He went though many and after every question and answer he seemed to sulk more and more while Light seemed to smirk more and more. Finally L asked the last question.

"Are you Kira?"

"No"

There was a long silence while Ryuzaki was checking the machine. He unhooked light from the machine without a word.

"Judging by your expression I don't think I am Kira." Light smiled at him.

"I will be getting a new Lie detector. We are going to do this test again on the highest quality one there is." L said scratching his black hair. You and light both raised your eyebrows.

'He was telling the truth!' You mentally flipped out. 'We will be home in no time!'

"Whatever you say Ryuzaki... We both know I'm telling the tru-" light began only to have his words be cut off.

"I don't believe your telling the truth. There is to much evidence."

Light shrugged back without a word. You beamed at light showing your teeth. He smiled back at you. You looked at him and saw the old gentle light. The caring one that would cuddle with you and stroke your hair until you fell asleep. You missed him so much. You couldn't help it as you threw your arms around him roughly making him rock back in his chair. He had a mild spasm in his chair as you surprise hug attached him. And for the first time in forever you actually heard him laugh a real laugh. Not a psychotic one. Joy was overflowing through you. You knew everything was going to end well.

"You are still staying here for now until I am able to get the device." L broke your happiness. "Even if you pass this test there will be other things you will have to do. Or I will have to spy on you two for awhile like before..." L went on. But you didn't care if he had to spy on you. You just wanted to go home.

"Fine." You answered before Light could argue. Things could of ended up worse anyway. "I'm staying with him until we leave." You inquired. "I expected you to say that." L replied not surprised. "I will have Watari get one by tomorrow" he blindfolded Light once again and. He motioned for you and light to follow him to another room. You lead light by holding his hand. This room actually looked somewhat decent. There was a tiny bathroom and a door led to a room with a bed. Other things lay about the room that could be useful. "You both will stay here for now. If I'm right which there is a 99% I am you both will be moved to room that is a lot less pleasant than this." and with those words he left the room. You cringed as you heard a loud click sound. No one said anything. It was almost kind of awkward you hated to admit it. All you could hear was your heat and lights beating roughly against your chests.

"What was in your hand earlier Light?" You questioned your silent partner." He turned away from you. "What are you talking about?" He replied clearly showing a little annoyance in his voice. You narrowed your eyes at him while his back was turned to you. "Fine. You know I can tell when your being a liar." You said more harsh than you meant to." You instantly regretted arguing.

"Wow he's kind of being a dick." You thought taken aback. "What did I do to him?"

You stood up roughly and walked towards the little rectangular mirror on the wall. You brought your hand up to your delicate neck and rubbed your fingers on the dark bruised area where the chained rope deathly tightened. You still couldn't believe you had done that. You never thought you would ever attempt suicide. You weren't like that at all. You caught Light looking at you in the corner of the mirror. He quickly turned away and laid down on the small bed. You had a feeling he was pissed off as you.

"But why?"

Tiredness swept over you also. You decided to give him space and you laid on the extremely hard carpeted floor. Shivers ran though your body as you begged sleep to take over you. Good thing it did but not for long. You opened your hazy (e/c) eyes. You still were on the floor. A slight tickle ran across your nose. The room was pitch black except for a small glowing light in the corner. You lazily swatted at your nose and you saw a little black spot scurry to the floor and run towards the little glow in the corner. You sat up suddenly seeing it was a big black spider. Now you were a little afraid to sleep on the floor. You wanted to sleep in the bed so bad but the bed was very small and could only got one person. And besides you didn't want to disturb Light. You forced yourself to lay your head back down. Using your arm as a pillow you stared at the small glow until you slipped out of consciousness.

You were in a room with no one. The walls were white and there didn't seem to be any exits. You screamed for someone to let you out but no one came. You cried and felt a hand on your shoulder. You turner to see your former friend Matt. "Don't cry (f/n) we can get out of here together." You tried to smile at him. He was about to speak once again when he stopped and started to groan loudly while clutching his chest. He fell to the floor and writhed in agony. You didn't know what to do. You screamed once more than noticed a shadow grow over matts body. You turned to see yet again another figure. He was dressed quite formally and had perfect brown hair. You noticed he had devilishly red eyes that were making up an evil smile. He held a black notebook In his left hand and a pen in his right. He started to laugh and fell to his knees In a laughing fit. You were paralyzed as you were forced to watch your boyfriend laugh at your friends death.

You woke up with a jerk kicking the wall beside you. Your forehead was beaded with sweat. There was a single clock on one of the walls. It read 5:00. Light was snoring heavily. Your eyes adverted to his sleeping figure.

"What if he really was Kira?" You thought. "What was with that notebook? It seemed oddly familiar...."

You didn't go to sleep the rest of that night.
