Insane yet Sweet (Light x reader)

What?

"What just happened?" You asked towards Light feeling pretty dizzy. You swayed a little clutching your head with a hand. The brunette blinked back at you and shrugged. "I don't understand." He replied looking around. The you remembered you were in the coffee shop.

"I must of felt a little sick." You said wondering. Light nodded. "Let's go back to our drinks." And with that you both walked out of the bathroom still clueless. You returned to your seats to the dark steaming cups of liquid. You inhaled the scent forgetting about the weird event. A smile appeared across your lips as you sipped the hot beverage.

"This is really good." You beamed looking down at the coffee. Light nodded back sipping his. "We should probably be going soon." Light said breaking you away from the quietness. You shrugged. "Why?" You questioned. The brunette looked into your eyes. "I need to get back to the Kira case. We still have to meet Near and Ryuzaki in two days. Since we really aren't Kira we shouldn't have any problems." He smiled a little. Your heart beat fast. You knew you weren't Kira but all the suspicion made you nervous anyways. You watched as Light stood and motioned for you to come with him. You got up and follows him out the door making the little bell jingle on the cafe door.

You felt soft lips press to your cheek as you could smell the familiar Scent. You felt him smile while still having his lips on your cheek. "Your beautiful (f/n)." He said making your face go red. You quickly shook your head and buried your face in your hands. "I'm not but thank you light." He sighed and contained to walk.

Lights (POV)

'How many times do I have to say it? I'm not joking. I'm serious. She never believes me. But why? How could someone as beautiful as her not see it?' I thought to myself looking at the pavement beneath me. I heard her footsteps walking towards me. I turned to see a red, wet face in front of me.

The sight made my heart drop. It looked like she had been stabbed in the neck a bunch of times. She stared at her hands in shock as blood poured from her nose down her neck and onto her clothes. "I think my nose is bleeding." She said quietly. I flashed her a look and dragged her back to the coffee shop. I ran in grabbing a handful of napkins ignoring the weird looks and pressed them to her nose. She thanked me and held the paper to her bleeding nose. "It must be the weather." She said confused. I nodded. It was common for some people to get nose bleeds when the air was to dry. It used to happen to Sayu also. "Let's head back." I stated and linked my arm with hers. She continued to use up the napkins until the blood finally stopped.

Your (POV)

We entered HQ with our arms tied together. You received pretty shocked looks from the police members. 'Oh yeah my shirt had blood on it.' You remembered.

"(F/n) are you alright what happened?!" You recognized Matsuda's voice. You nervously laughed. "Just a nose bleed." He sighed in relief. "You should  change and clean your self up." He suggested. You nodded at him as he walked to his original spot.

Light opened the door to your room to let you in. Your eyes flashed to the middle of the room where a hunched over figure was sitting. You nearly had a heart attack seeing a dark shadow like that. Stomping in angrily you made your way to the figure already knowing who it was.

"Ryuzaki you scared me!" You yelled at him causing his cake to fall off his fork. "There is blood on your shirt. You couldn't kill someone with the notebook so you decided to kill them by hand I assume?" He asked calmly picking the piece of cake up with his fingers. Your felt your face burn in anger. "Ryuzaki..." You tried to to hide your anger.

'I'm not Kira. If I just let him make these comments and ignore them he Will find out I'm not actually Kira along with Light. Only two more days and we are free!' The thought made your pretty happy as you felt a small smile appear on your lips.

"Why are you so happy?" The onyx haired man asked snapping your thoughts away.

'I'm such an idiot.' You thought mentally slapping yourself in the face. 'Ill just tell him the truth I guess'

"I was smiling because in two days you will find out the truth about us. And we will be free!" You said exitedly clapping your hands together. L stared blankly at you clearly unamused. "I guess we will just have to see." He said eating more of the cake.

He left the room after you and Light kicked him out. 'Finally more time to ourselves' you thought closing your eyes a little.

'2 more days'.

'what are we supposed to do these next two days? It's so boring staying here...' You thought scratching your head.

"Oh yeah we have school.." Light spoke as if he had read your thoughts. Your eyes flicked open at the words. You hadn't been to school in a few days. 'It doesn't really matter right? We are under suspicion anyways' you continued to think.

"Let's return to going to school." Light said making you cringe a little. You hated school. And you didn't understand the creepy white haired boy who had sat behind you the last time. You didn't reply to him. "Is someone wrong?" He asked clearly seeing your disappointment. "I hate school." You pouted looking away. "Come on.. It's not that bad." He replied sighing. You raised your eyebrows. "Easy for you to say smarty." You said with an irritated voice.

'With his knowledge school was probably easy and boring. Man I wish I was that smart.' You thought.

"Fine." You sighed. "It's not like I have anything better to do." Light nodded. "Alright. We will continue tomorrow." The brunette added.

The next day

You again walked with Light like the days before towards the school. It wasn't that far anyways. You also revived many rude glares from girls. That was pretty common though. You brushed it off quite easily. There had even been girls who have asked Light to be his girlfriend with you standing right by him. You were just glad he never accepted. That would of completely crushed you.

"Hey Light can I ask you something?" You turned to him waiting for him to stop walking. He turned. His gentle brown eyes facing your (e/c) ones. "Yes?" He asked confused. "I was thinking... When we first met. Why did you take an interest towards me? I mean there are hundreds of girls you know who are far prettier than I am and-" you were cut off by his voice. "I don't choose girls just because they are "pretty". When I was saw you trip that one day and helped you up something was just telling me that you were a good person. A caring one. Your so kind and beautiful. How could I not?" He paused touching his chin. "But I some how feel there was another reason but... I don't seem to remember." He added narrowing his eyes. Your face was beat red from all the kind words. But now that you also thought about it seemed like there was something missing in the picture.

'Why did I start living with him again?' You thought questioning why you were forgetting so much.

"Anyways class starts soon. We wouldn't want to cause an awkward entrance." He laughed causing you to blush harder. Seeing him laugh was like making a baby smile at you. It always made you feel so good inside. Just by laughing you felt loved for some reason. The brunette pecked you on the cheek and grabbed your hand leading you into the correct room.

Of course that albino kid was there again. You didn't understand him. He was just so strange. He reminded you so much like Ryuzaki. He did say he was working with Ryuzaki...

'He's probably just going to be spying on us the whole time. To bad for him we aren't even Kira' you thought satisfied.

"I can't wait to see you both soon." You heard the blank familiar voice come from behind you.
