Something full of the funny and full of the sex because I'm about to finish "Art Heist, Baby!" and I'm currently not coping very well with it...
No spoilers! I've already been spoiled enough! Just let me cry in peace, I'll get back to you when I'm done 🥲
So in Hogwarts Legacy, two of the like "boss enemies" are The Grim and the White Wolf. Now in the game the White Wolf is actually a female, she's a large white wolf that supposedly, like The Grim, has some type of magical strength to her and is a legend amongst wizards and witches. She's also the Grim's mate and they live in a cave together with their lil bubs (except they're not so little when you get there, you will need fire). In this oneshot though, since Sirius is already depicted as The Grim, I wanted to make Remus his White Wolf.
I don't actually have a clear idea what I'm writing about as I do this lol it's just a go with the flow type, I just love the idea of Remus having an animagus form too, that happens to link to Sirius, and the two of them have become this crazy legend/horror story amongst the magical community and they see the stories in the papers or whatever and Sirius is like "babe that's us 🤪"
Remus and Sirius sat at The Three Broomsticks, enjoying a butterbeer together and listening to the gossip around them. They were adults now, definitely more than a couple years out of Hogwarts and they lived together on the outskirts of town where they had bought a small cottage. It wasn't much, but enough that the two of them could make a comfortable home out of it.
One of the waitresses came over with food that the men had ordered, "and the daily prophet as usual for you, Mr Lupin"
"Thank you" Remus smiled politely, it had become a regular part of his day now, reading the paper at The Three Broomsticks, to the point the staff now had a copy of the paper on hand for him when he walked in. He was a paying customer, who always spoke fondly of them, so they didn't particularly care, or mind, if he simply enjoyed having a newspaper to read with his lunch.
"Anything interesting?" Sirius leaned over, tilting the paper slightly to see what was on it, he smiled when he saw Remus' eyes scan the second page.
"The Hogsmeade Community page is speaking of a large, black wolf terrorizing a nearby village. Again. Locals have been speculating that it's The Grim. An omen of death from old folklore that many believe to actually exist" Remus looked up from the page and raised his eyebrow at Sirius who just shrugged and looked back down at his food.
"Without me? I'm disappointed" Remus smirked and stole a chip off of Sirius' plate, "you've got to make sure you're being careful love. Last thing I need is you being caught." Remus whispered as the table next to them filled up with people.
"Coming from you, princess, with your bright white fur" Sirius could see Remus was still looking worried though, "look we've never been caught and we never will be", Sirius paused then knocked on the wooden table, looking up at Remus a little guiltily, "not that I'm trying to jinx anything of course, but you get my point. Besides, our cave isn't exactly easy to reach if someone was to try and chase us."
Remus hummed in response, "should we go for a walk this evening?"
"Yeah why not, it's nice to get out of the house every now and again. And not just to go to the Forbidden Forest" Sirius said, "not that I mind of course"
Remus went to respond when the two suddenly saw a crowd form around the table next to them, an older wizard was pointing at the article Remus had just been reading. Sirius walked over and lent against Remus' chair, gently nudging a few others near him away so he could see what the elderly man was talking about.
"It's The Grim I tell you, coincidence it appears around those close to death?" The old man said dramatically as a group of young Hogwarts students joined in on the conversation. Sirius lent down and whispered to Remus,
