This is based of a Hogwarts Legacy skit from @sophia🐝 with her MC Ashton Maze. Except I've made this with Remus and Sirius. Just something silly and goofy for you because my next one may or may not be trauma related
Enjoy!
Remus looked down at the dorm room floor disappointed,
"God this place is a mess, no one cleans up after themselves and then they wonder why we're all tripping over our own feet every morning"
Remus started picking up clothes, chucking the dirty ones in a pile on the floor and then the clean ones he threw onto the designated roommates bed.
Remus took some of his own belongings off the ground, silently scolding himself for letting that part of his routine become lazy, especially when it came to his washing. Remus lifted up one of his jackets and he noticed a book on the ground. Remus picked it up and smiled with a sigh,
"My old cure ideas, I don't know what I was thinking with some of these..."
Remus' childhood dog, Max, had passed away last year from a cancer that had grown in his liver. Max wasn't just a dog, that dog had been Remus' best friend and when Remus found out he was sick he absolutely spiralled, trying everything magical to make the cancer disappear.
Remus eventually had to accept that, even though he loved his dog dearly, there wasn't anything Remus would've been able to do to cure him, with or without magic.
"An apple? Ridiculous. Ancient magic? A wishing well? I really thought these would've worked" Remus shook his head and then paused, "I wonder actually, do wishing wells even work? Couldn't hurt to give it a try"
Remus left the castle and used the floo flames to take him to a hamlet nearby Hogsmeade Station where he knew there sat a wishing well many students spoke of. Remus approached the well,
"Uh hello?"
"Who goes there?" An ominous voice came from within the well and Remus stood back, slightly startled, before walking closer to the sturdy stack of bricks.
"It's me, Remus Lupin"
"Ah I've heard about you, you were the one desperately looking for a cure to save his dog?" the voice asked in question, but with a sense of all-knowing at the same time.
"What? How did you know that?" Remus stared shocked, while also feeling slightly judged by the well's tone of voice.
"Do you wish to know that?"
"No, it's a normal question!" Remus said, now wondering if the whole of Hogsmeade knew of his past endeavours or if this wishing well was simply really creepy.
"If you want information you have to wish for it"
"What? Ok, ok. Let me try what I actually came to ask then." Remus looked at the well and almost muttered, he couldn't believe he was actually trying this, "I wish you would tell me that if I had come to you last year, would you have been able to save my Max?"
"I require money for an answer."
"I don't have any money."
"Wish for money."
"I wish for money?"
"I require money for an answer."
"Why would you tell me to wish for money when you knew I don't have any money to begin with?!"
"Is that a question? I require money for an answer."
"Ugh give me a second" Remus turned around and pulled out his wand, "accio Sirius Black"
