It was the middle of the night when Steve got a call. It was from Fury. He answered immediately. Tiana woke up, eyes full of sleep. "Is everything okay?" She asked, rubbing her eyes. Steve shook his head, before getting out of bed and walking out the room. Tiana wanted to know what was happening but was too tired to stay awake.

"I'm afraid I have bad news, Captain. It looks like Rheya has escaped." Fury explained. "What? How did that happen?" Steve asked. "We're still trying to figure that out. It looks like she had an accomplice. That's the only explanation for how she escaped." Fury added. "I can't believe she escaped. Tiana is in danger again, even more now that Rheya escaped.I'll be over there in 15 min." Steve fumed.

After the call, he came back to the room to find Tiana fast asleep. He chuckled softly. He didn't want to wake her up again. He wrote a note and left it on her bed side table. She has no idea what danger she is in. He does everything he can to protect her.He gently kisses the top of her head, before leaving the house.

Steve was furious. How could they let Rheya escape? Steve thought, angrily. He knew she was behind everything. Poor Tiana, thinking she could trust Rheya turning over a new leaf. He would have to tell her news later. She'll know when she wakes up. Rheya will not get away with this. She would have to face his wrath. He will do whatever it takes to keep her from harming Tiana. Rheya is going to regret messing with Tiana.

When Steve got to the compound, he found Fury pacing around the room."So, any clues to her whereabouts?" Steve asked impatiently."Nothing. Whoever helped her escape knew what they were doing. As if they knew the in's and out's of this place. Could be someone from the inside. We need to be wary of everyone. Can't trust anyone." Fury said, shaking his head in disbelief.

"What if the person who helped her escape is the real culprit?" Fury questioned. "I doubt that. Rheya could have hired people to get her out. I think she orchestrated everything." Steve said, gritting his teeth. "Do you have evidence to back up your claim?" Fury asked."No, I don't, but I know Rheya likes to play mind games, this is no different from those other times." Steve argued. "You make a good point." Fury agreed. "Besides, if it isn't her who would it be? It's not like Tiana has a long list of enemies or something." Steve added.

"It could be one of yours. You put away a lot of people. Many of them would want revenge. What better way to do that than going after the one you love the most." Fury added thoughtfully. "You're right. I didn't consider that possibility." Steve said, feeling deflated.

"Roger's, I don't think you should tell her about this. Not until we're sure Rheya is behind the attacks." "I have to tell her. She needs to know. It's the only way she'll be safe. It will disappoint her that Rheya returned to her old self but at least she will be safe." Steve explained. "Do you really think she will be safe if you tell her?" "I do." Steve said simply. "I'm not sure about anything right now, only that I have to tell her." Steve said. "Okay, it's your call." Fury said.

Tiana woke up to find the bed empty and cold. Steve must have left when she fell asleep again. As she got out of bed, something caught her eye. There was a post-it  note stuck on her bed side table. It said that Fury called Steve. It was urgent.  She sighed, she wanted to find out what the call was about. It must have been serious if Fury called him in the middle of the night. Steve rarely gets calls in the middle of the night.

An hour later, Steve called her. "Tiana, I have some bad news." Steve said, voice grim. "What is it?' Tiana, getting worried. "It's Rheya. She escaped." Steve said flatly. "What?! How?" Tiana gasped. "We're still figuring that out. We're still looking for her. I'll let you know when we find her. " He answered. "Why would she do something like that? She said she wasn't behind the attack. She had no reason to escape." Tiana questioned, confused. "Babe, she's a criminal, manipulating you is what she does. You shouldn't believe everything she says. That's how she tricked you before." Steve said. "I know she tricked me before, but it's not like the last time, I know she has changed." Tiana pressed on. "Tiana, not everyone is capable of change. I know you want to believe her but you can't. She betrayed you before." Steve said.
