Chapter 5: A Burning Love
I admit, when he took off his shirt, I was breathless. It wasn’t just because I was basically hyperventilating, it was also because he was so gorgeous.
It was so different to be lying there in lingerie, instead of in my usual pyjamas. I kissed him again, and again. I couldn’t keep my hands off of him, and that must be why this was taking so long. I didn’t care; I wanted this to last forever.
“Is this a dream? This is too good to be true,” I whispered as he undressed me. His hands were so warm and comforting against my soft skin.
“I’ll definitely agree with you,” he replied, smirking at me. “I love you,” he added.
“I love you more,” I said, giggling. He leaned over me.
“You want to bet?” he asked, smiling. I nodded. “I’ll bet you a million dollars that I love you more.”
“But I don’t have-” I was saying, but he interrupted me in the middle of my sentence, placing his finger over my mouth.
“Shh. I’m joking, love. Don’t worry,” he said, laughing. He leaned down, and I shuddered. His chest was cold against my own. Kissing me once more, he continued to remove the rest of his clothing. His body was perfect, it was amazing. He sat up, pulling me into his lap. His hands caressed me and I let out a sigh. I leaned into him, kissing his chest. One of his hands went to my back, running along the spine.
‘Oppa,” I whispered to him, overwhelmed by the feeling in my body. I couldn’t take it.
He kissed my shoulder, laying down, bringing me with him.
“I’ll make the feeling go away, don’t worry Yoona,” he said, gently turning the two of us over. I’d known from the beginning that the first few times, there would be a bit of pain. But when I felt the pain, I didn’t know it would be like that. I whimpered.
“I’m sorry. I know it hurts, love. It won’t stay for long,” he promised me, kissing my arm. Sure enough, he was right. The pain didn’t last long, only for a few minutes, until it was replaced by something much better. A feeling of pleasure. I could proudly tell my friends that I was no longer a virgin, not that I would, or that it was ever really important before. I was just happy to finally make love to my arch angel. Forget any other day, this would top it easily. There was nothing that could bring me down from cloud number nine.
“It’s a good thing we kept that promise, otherwise I’d find our wedding day forgettable compared to this day,” I told him, smirking. He held me closer, laughing.
He replied sweetly with, “You’re right, I’d think so too.”
As of this day, I don’t think I could ever be sad again. I’d forever be by my husbands side, no matter what I had to do to keep that vow.
