We each showed our IDs to the officers by the yellow caution tapes of the Fontaine building.
Apparently there was a sudden death that happened in that home. A dead body found inside the closet while the kids were sent in the hopsital because they were in a coma.
Wrio then notices us and finishes typing into the officer ipad.
"Thank you guys for coming here on such a short notice." Wrio says to hs.
Wrio then whispers to Dottore and me, "those FBI and CIA ID cards I gave you are real. Don't lose them. Police Commissioner Lu Li aka Luhan's brother wanted me to officially give you these, which permits for you with your investigations with the ongoing supernatural and ambiguous cases."
"Thank you so much, Wrio." I replied.
"Gotta thank XZHQ for that." Wrio replied with a smile.
I then see Dottore deep in thought.
"Zeta?" I asked
"Hmm?" Asked Dottore.
"Are you thinking about something?
I asked him.
"I can't figure out what's Omega planning for now, but... perhaps we don't need to know." Dottore replied, "if we obsess over trying to predict his moves, we'll be easily led around by the nose.
We don't need to know everything. As long as we can identify a general pattern and strike the vital point, we can still achieve our goals." Dottore explains.
"By the way, Vein, What did you show the officers anyway?" I asked him, "your CIA ID right?" I asked.
"Yeah my hunter credentials and law enforcement ID Wrio gave us?" Vein replied, confused, "Huh." His calm expression subtly changes as he looks at his wallet. "It's my 海底捞 hot pot membership card." He then laughs a little.

I started laughing, my laughter was joined by Dottore and Wrio.
"Amateur." Dottore snided.
Wrio bursted out laughing, "you're lucky I'm the one in charge of this investigation team today." He laughs again.
Behind us, Xiao tried not to laugh but failed.
"Did he just laugh?!" Vein asked, surprised.
"He does that all the time where he tries to maintain his composure but fails ninety percent of the time." Dottore replies.
"Is it just me or this room is so cold and I'm feeling like something's here." I began.
"You're absolutely right on that." Replied Xiao, returning to his usual stoic expression.
Dottore nods in agreement.
"This isn't your usual crime case." Wrio says as he examined the floor and furniture for any struggle.
"This feels more chilling than the abyss." Dottore notes.
Vein was taking notes onto his phone and physical notebook.
Wrio gingerly wiped the dust off the windowsill.
"No sulfur, not a demon." Xiao concludes.
"Not a our usual ghost despite the cold air, it just feels too off." I noted.
"Not a baku or a jinn." Dottore concludes.
Vein had went back outside to take a call and gather intel.
