Location: 长白山 The Other Bronze doors
Wu Xie placed the keys he found in the previous tomb and pieced them together into a bigger key. Putting the key away in his pockets, he gingerly reached into his pockets a torn map and his phone. He was deciding where he wanted to go.
"We don't need locals. I know where we are going." Xiao replies determindly.
Wuxie was already ahead of us and had already found a local to help guide us.
The following week
An icy wind blew over the snow covered mountains.
We trudged towards an ice lake at the foot of the mountain.
"Now, we cross the lake." Wu Xie says.
Xiao went ahead out of us and tested the rigidness of the ice.
He gently jumped on top of the ice and then also looked through the ice.
"Safe to cross, although I can't help sense this strange energy of a large creature at the bottom of this lake." Replied Xiao.
"Thanks, Xiao." Replied Wuxie giving Xiao a pat on the back,
Wuxie, Fatty and one of the locals trudged towards the ice.
They gingerly walk across. Snow continued to fall lightly from the sky.
Towards the middle of the lake, they suddenly stopped and we watched in horror as one of the locals was picked up by something.
A huge shadow shot out of the ice and dragged the man into the water.
"Let me go deal with that!" Xiao yelled as he charged ahead of us.
Xiao had jumped down the large hole the creature created. I worriedly ran over to see.
Underwater, the Yaksha kited the large fish, he then darted and drove his spear through the fish.
He speared it several times to make sure it remained immobilezed.
He then immediately surfaced.
"下面有六角铃铛!" Xiao shouted.
The six-sided bell, a secret weapon the Zhang family used to create illusions.
"We're not affected by it because archons and vision wielders are immune." Addso Xiao.
"Hold your breathe or breathe as little as possible when we cross!" I yelled.
"What she said!" Xiao replied.
Xiao then picks a few people up from the ground without a second reply and teleports us immediately to the other side of the ice lake.
Next, he teleports Wuxie and Fatty.
We went inside the strange abandoned cabin to warm up.
"I would teleport you guys straight in. But I am here to investigate the truth about the 夜王 while you are here for Qiling." Xiao explains.
"I know and you told me Y/N is going to pick someone up, just like us." Replied Wu Xie.
"Thanks for understanding." I breathed as I warmed my hands by the fire.
Suddenly huge, strange gold spheres shot out of the side of the snow mountain.
"The hell is that?!" Cursed Fatty as he aimed his rifle at the creature.
"大金球! 大家小心!" Yelled Wu Xie.
"A carnivorous creature from the tombs." Xiao replied as he went to kite them.
