My pov
The following week, we reached the middle peak of the snowy mountain.
A bitter snowstorm gnawed at our feet.
The locals refused to take us any further, no matter what thet said, we continued to press on alone.
Hours Later
Not far from the Golden Bronze Doors
Before us, not far down the narrow hallway, stood the Golden Bronze doors. It looked sealed and untouched for centuries. The flickering torchlight reflected off their surface, revealing intricat carvings of a dragon and qilin, one on each side.
Hendry Cox stood right beside the door, then pushed up the huge lever.
A low rumble shuddered through the ancient metal as the doors groaned open, their gears clicking and echoing through the cavern.
The ground trembled and shooked faintly beneath us.
"Not Again!" Wu Xie shouted as Zhang Qiling, Xiao, and me slipped through the slowly widening gap of the doors.
A gust of jade-green wind surged outwards, swirling with gold and bronze dust.
The doors shut behind us with a final, resonant *clang*, sealing us inside as we descended the steps into a thick, warm fog.
I tightened my grip on Xiao's hand as we followed Qiling deeper into the area.
Xiao guided you to the edge of a streaming spring and carefully instructed you to enter, lowering you into the water. It was shallow, the heat just shy of scalding, lukewarm against your skin.
After a few minutes of soaking in the mythical springs, Xiao lifted you out and then summoned a gentle Anemo breeze to dry you off.
"Hey Raiden, I found something." Xiao says, gazing at me, "wanna go check it out?" He asks.
"Sure." I agreed, stepping out of the spring after him.
我面前的路都是迷茫的雾，最后好像踩到了什么。
We stepped through a portal, perhaps?
原来是雪，这里怎么会下雪?!
然后我走到了冰川雪山。
"魈!"
无人回应，我的声音已被暴风雪盖住。
然后我走到了一座冰雪皇宫。
A voice echoed among the snow as I stepped onto the stairs of the icy tombs.
"Your existence, not what you do. 重点是你，而不是怎样的你." Dottore (Zeta) whispered.
"旅行者，你这可真是要我的命了. Dear traveler, you are going to be the death of me." Omega sighed.
And then....
"Never shall I abandon you. Even across death and time, I will return to you, my love, this, I swear. 我永远不会离开你的，我会回来的. Y/N，信我." Zandik (Zeta Dottore) whispered before he left.
