Boy's A liar - Reddie and Byler ~ ST X IT

The Morning.

3rd person POV.

Richie and Eddie woke up cuddling on the couch, their arms and legs intertwined, and their lips bruised. Eddie was the first to wake. The sight of Richie reminded him of the night before, when hair-pulling, shirt-tugging, and soft caresses filled his mind once again. 

"Fuck," he thought, running his fingers through Richie's curls. This newfound platonic attention wasn't making his feelings go away at all; he was so doomed.

Richie stirred awake suddenly, humming at the feeling of Eddie's hands massaging his scalp. He didn't even sit up; he was almost ready to fall asleep again. Eddie didn't want to, but he moved his hands from Richie's scalp, causing him to whine, "Eddieeeee!"

Eddie laughed softly at Richie's reaction. Richie tightened his grip on Eddie in protest; he didn't want to let him go. "Richie, let go. We've got stuff to do," Eddie said with an annoyed tone, even though he was right where he wanted to be.

"No, we don't; Mike and Will do," Richie replied. That was true; they could stay in this basement until it was time to go to Lucas's house.

"Exactly why we should wake them up. Come on, I'll buy you ice cream," Eddie offered, which made Richie immediately release Eddie and sit up. "Can we make out after?"Eddie rolled his eyes as he sat up and fixed his pajamas. Richie sat there, grinning like an idiot. "Yeah, fine," Eddie said, waiting for Richie to stand up and follow him up the stairs to wake Mike and Will.

 When they reached the room, they knocked on the door before opening it immediately. "Mike, Will! It's time to wake up!" Richie announced, and Eddie opened the door. They burst out laughing, waking the two boys who were cuddling. It was hypocritical of them to make fun of Mike and Will for cuddling when they had just done the same thing—and not only that, they often made out too.

Mike groaned and threw a pillow at them with one hand while keeping the other resting on Will. "Go away! We're up!" he yelled sleepily. Will sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, leaving Mike irritated that he had left his arms.

Will grabbed his bag and left to get ready within the blink of an eye. Mike didn't even expect him to leave so fast, even though it wasn't new. He just thought they'd talk about the whole cuddling thing. Richie and Eddie were in the other bathroom, getting ready to leave the house, and Mike went to the bathroom Will was in, standing next to him as he grabbed his toothbrush.

Damn near every morning, he brushed his teeth beside Will; it's like he lived there, and he wasn't complaining. Sleepovers every night, waking up together in the morning, it was like a dream.

He watched as Will brushed his teeth through the mirror. He noticed his cute bunny teeth that he always thought were adorable. One of the cutest things about him and it was something that always caught his attention, alongside his soft pink lips.

"You okay, Mike?" Will asks, breaking Mike from his trance as he hurriedly turns around. "Y-yeah... sorry," Mike says, then he grabs the toothpaste, squirting some on his toothbrush. "God, what the hell is wrong with me?"

Richie and Eddie were already done getting ready by the time Mike and Will were done brushing their teeth. "I don't understand why they don't just date each other already, they're obviously inlove and no one minds it now, so why should they mind when they're official?" Richie asks, watching Eddie snap on his fanny pack while he himself fixes his shirt.

Eddie shrugs in response. "I guess they're just not as honest as we are," Eddie answers as he adjusts his fanny pack, then he looks up at Richie. He had a stupid smirk on his face, and he grabbed Eddie's chin, pulling his face up to kiss him. Eddie kissed back, of course, but then pulled back after a few seconds, scrunching up his face and sticking out his tongue, earning an eyeroll from Richie. "Maybe wait until the toothpaste taste goes away." He laughs.

Author's Note: Sorry, I haven't updated ANY of my books. I've been trying to take a break from writing fanfics and continue writing my own book instead. (Yes, the Duffer brothers' failure has inspired me to write something better.) I thought that maybe it would also be accepted by Netflix, and I could finish it the way the Duffer brothers should have. Just a thought, though.
