Note: This was inspired by Jana Kramer's song, "I Got the Boy." Some of her lyrics areused in this FanFic. Those lyrics belong to Jana Kramer. I do NOT own them.

In a small coffee shop two towns over from Beacon Hills, Malia paid the young cashier for the two cups of coffee she ordered. She walked back with a cup in each hand, and the morning newspaper under her arm. It's been ten years since Malia left Beacon Hills and Scott's pack. She wanted a fresh start, something different and exciting. She made it through business school, and is now a club owner that is in the process of opening a second location across town. Things have been going good for Malia. Her business is growing strong; she has new friends, and a new boyfriend she's been seeing for a couple of months now.

"Here you go, Lisa." Malia handed her one of the warm cups of coffee. She sat down in the chair across from Lisa and blew into the hot cup of coffee before taking a sip. She placed the newspaper on the table and started skimming through it as she asked Lisa, "What are your plans for today?"

"Well, I'm thinking of going to the movies. Would you like to go there's this-" Lisa's voice faded.

Malia zoned out and ignored Lisa as soon as she saw a certain picture in the wedding announcement section. Malia's eyes fell on the man in the fitted black tux. He was a very handsome man with dark brown hair combed back and nicely done. His light brown eyes beamed with happiness and his smile spread across his entire face, as his arms wrapped around the bride's waist; his wedding band in full display. She hardly recognized the boy she once knew. It seemed like another world in a different time.

Her eyes traveled to the woman the man was looking at. The bride's beautiful white modified A-Line dress was tightly wrapped around her torso, showing off her curves. Over the left shoulder was a strap with a few feathers, which added an elegant taste to the dress, with a crystal beaded train. The top half of her hair was tied back with a pretty braid as her strawberry blonde hair hung lose in long waves. She was absolutely breathtaking.

The bride and groom looked at each other with so much kindness, tenderness, love, and adoration as they locked eyes. Malia knew exactly who the newlywed couple was, but it had been ten years since she last saw them.

Malia's eyes followed the announcement written under the picture.

Lisa noticed Malia hadn't been listening for a while, and saw a mixed combination of shock and sadness in Malia's facial expression. Malia's mouth was slightly opened and her eyebrows were pulled forward as her eyes rapidly scanned the newspaper article. "What's wrong?" Lisa asked concerned. She pushed her cup aside to give Malia her full attention.
