Derek's foot stepped on the gas as he made his way back to Lydia's lake house. It had only been 5 minutes since he received the call from Lydia and it was five minutes of pure torture as Lydia's words replayed in Derek's head. 'Peter and Kate took her.'

Derek didn't need Lydia to say who 'her' was. It was none other than Y/N. The second Lydia said it, his heart dropped to his stomach, instantly worried for her safety. His chest tightened, his jaw clenched, and his fingers curled into tight fists making his knuckles white, as anger boiled in his veins. He was furious and hell bent on getting revenge against his uncle and ex-girlfriend for kidnapping the love of his life.

Derek stepped on the breaks as soon as his Camaro pulled up in Lydia's driveway, the tires leaving burn marks on the pavement. He yanked the keys from the ignition and pushed the door closed before rushing to the front door.

"What happened?!" Derek roared as he barged into the living room where the rest of the pack waited for him.

"Derek, you need to calm down." Scott stood in front of Derek.

"Lydia, what happened?!" He repeated.

Lydia's cheeks were stained with little black rivers. Her eyes were glassy and puffy. She inhaled a deep breath before speaking. "I don't know. I was walking with Y/N and I turned around for a split second and the next thing I know she's gone. I turned around and saw Peter and Kate dragging her into the woods. I tried to follow them, but I tripped over something and I just couldn't-" Stiles wrapped his arm around her as she let out another sob.

Lydia was reeking with guilt and Derek didn't mean to make her feel bad. He just wanted to know the story of what happened.

Derek pulled Lydia into a tight hug and shushed her. "It's okay. It's not your fault. We're going to find her." Derek pulled back and locked eyes with her. "We're going to find her." He said with a tight voice.

In the woods, Scott and Derek tried to track down Y/N's scent, but they kept getting dead ends. Her scent was so strong in certain areas of the woods and the boys would follow it, only to end up confused when the scent suddenly disappeared mid-trail. Derek was losing it. He knew the tricks Peter had up his sleeves. Peter taught Derek the ropes of being a werewolf but Peter always kept the good tricks to himself for his own advantage. Kate was great at playing games, and Derek never seemed to figure out her manipulating games. He knew both of them working together would be hard to defeat.

Derek ran his hand through his hair, pulling the ends just a little as he let out a frustrated growl. "I swear when I find Peter and Kate-"

"Derek, we'll find her." Scott tried to calm down the angry alpha. "I know how angry you are right now, but you need to focus and think straight. I know how much Y/N means to you, but get it together man. If you don't, then I don't know-" Scott's phone rang, the ringtone echoing in the woods.

"Scott! Derek!" Stiles voice rang though the phone. "We found her!"

A small sense of relief waved through Derek's body but that didn't stop his heart from dropping to his stomach at the same time. Sure, Stiles said he found her, but he didn't say if she was alive or dead. Scott could smell the different emotions radiating off Derek. He was completely overwhelmed and Scott wanted to give him some sort of relief.

Before Scott could respond, Derek snatched the phone from Scott's hand. "Where is she?!"

"I got the surveillance footage from my dad and we saw Kate's car driving to the school. They got out and walked across the parking lot, but they shot at the school cameras. The street surveillance camera didn't catch where they were headed."
