Author's Note: I couldn't find a Scott McCall/Tyler Posey gif that would gif with this imagine. So, enjoy that shirtless and wet Posey gif, haha.

During the summers, Beacon Hills is always warm. It's rare when it's torching hot. Today was one of those days. It's over 100 degrees and it is definitely considered a hot summer day. The sun is out and there isn't a single cloud in the sky.
I stood on the edge of the deep end of pool as the sun kissed my skin. I stared at the clear blue water. It looked so refreshing as beads of sweat started forming on my forehead. I wanted nothing more than to take a few steps back, run towards the pool, jump and tuck my legs in for a canon ball. However, there is one problem. I don't know how to swim.
As I continued to stare at the cool blue water, my mind raced back to the last time I was in the pool.
I looked out the kitchen window of my new home and smiled knowing 'my forever' was finally happening in my life.
During the middle of our senior year, Scott and I decided to start dating. Eventually our crush turned into something deeper, wonderful, and magical. We fell in love. During our sophomore year in college, we had the conversation. The one where we both decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together after we finished school and had steady careers. The conversation led to where we wanted to live, and how many kids we wanted. A year after we graduated, Scott proposed. I said yes.
With just a few months before our wedding, Scott and I bought a house just outside of Beacon Hills, close enough to keep an eye on the supernatural town and still see our family and friends.
"Y/N?" A voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I turned around to see Liam. He wore a white muscle shirt with a palm tree silhouette and dark blue swimming trunks with a pair of flip-flops. His outfit was perfect for our Hawaiian themed pool party.
"Scott needs the hamburger buns," Liam said as he walked towards me in the kitchen.
"Let me get them for you." I walked over to the pantry and pulled out two bags of hamburger buns. I didn't think it was enough knowing half our guests were supernatural creatures and can eat like it's their last meal, but Scott said it would be enough.
I handed the bags over to Liam. "Here you go, and I'll be out in a second with the lemonade."
"Thanks," Liam said as he grabbed the buns and went back outside through the French doors that led to the back patio.
I added a few more ice cubes in the pitcher before mixing the lemonade with a wooden spoon. I placed the pitcher on a tray with glasses and carefully grabbed the heavy tray.
As I walked out of the kitchen and towards the wooden picnic table on the back patio, music was blasting through the small speakers that were connected to someone's phone. I looked over to the BBQ pit and saw Scott flipping burgers as he talked to Theo. I couldn't help but smile. Theo had come such a long way since high school and now he's one of our good friends. Scott even asked him to be a groomsman for our wedding.
I turned around to see the girls lying on the pool chairs. Of course, they were by the deep end of the pool, which was 6 feet deep. The previous owners were swimmers and bought this in-ground pool. Unfortunately, as someone who's 4'8 and doesn't know how to swim, I had no say in the pool. Scott loves to swim and considering how spacious the house was, we got a good deal on the price. It would cost more to get it removed and fix the yard. Having a pool was okay, even though I would never use it.
