Chelsey's P.o.v

"I think that's impossible knowing that even if you were, William would've still remembered about you since you're not even that old." I retorted making her frown and yell, "My mother always kept my in the guest room upstairs and yelled at me when I would step out, so it's not my fault! My cousin, Elizabeth, knew about me and my mom knew that she knew about me since she accidentally came into the guest room...well, I may've stuck my head out of the room, but that was 5 years ago. She probably forgot about me. Listen, I know all about my brothers, I stalk them everyday! I even stalked them to the dance by someone helping give me a ride. I had so much fun eating something besides porridge and dancing! Anyways, I know everything! I've been lost for 3 and 1/2 years already, living off of what strangers give me and going to the shelter every now and then, so trust me when I say that I am their long lost sister!"

I stared at her speechless and confused. I believe her, but how could her mom do that to her daughter. Keep her locked up in her room for years.

"Why did you and how did you get out or get lost?" I asked, while sitting on one of the chairs that's in the store. "Well, when I was 6, I found out that I was home alone, so I thought that it's finally my chance to escape, but when I tried to open the room door, it was locked from the inside, so I cried in defeat...but...I absentmindedly looked at the window before realizing that I could just jump. Look at my cool scar!" She lifted her shirt midway and a saw a long cut that was now a light shade of red. "I'm used to the streets and I love all the nice people who think that I'm cute because they give me 10 dollars a week to go get some food since the shelter doesn't give much but a small amount of porridge. One time an old woman gave me 50 bucks! How cool is that!" I smiled and watched as she jumped up in excitement, and then sat on my lap. Oh my gosh, a Gray is sitting on my lap. Do I even deserve this?

"Ve-ry...very cool." I replied with a forced smile, still shocked that this little girl, that is somehow in the Gray family, is sitting on my lap. She turned around on my lap and gave me a heart warming smile. Wow, that is a extremely inherited trait. The whole family has that trait.

"And guess what! I saw cute little pictures and posters of me, with my name on it, all around. I'm famous! The posters always say m-i-s-s-i-n-g or c-a-l-l  i-f  s-e-e-n! I don't know what those abbreviations stand for, but I stole both types and watched it as it said my mom's and my name. It puts me right to sleep." She smiled sadly, while snuggling into my arms. Wow, she's so soft that she's about to put me right to sleep. That's another thing that she inherited. Soft hugs.

After a while of her snuggling with me and me watching people pass us by and go to the check out line, I suddenly heard soft snoring. This is such a calm and sweet moment. Something that I need in life.

When I got home I yelled, "Mom, we have a guest! Come see her!" That's right! I brought Amanda home with me because I don't want her to sleep on the streets alone, especially at her age, but mostly because there are creeps in this world and she doesn't need to meet them. "I don't think that she'll like me. She might be like my mom and lock me up in the room when I want freedom...I'm sorry, I can't be here." She told me before turning around and sprinting back to the exit, but I chased her and grabbed her arm before she can get further through the exit. "Hey! I promise, she'll love you, don't worry!" I informed her with a stern look.

"You said you promise! That means that you can't break your promise!" She teased me while smirking at me. Whoa, she smirks just like William. "I know," I laughed, while hearing my mom's footsteps going down the stairs. "Watch, she's going to love you." I whispered to Amanda while looking at her, but she was blushing and looking scared.

"Okay, where are th...oh hey there little girl. Are you lost?" My mom asked when she came into the livingroom. She crouched down to Amanda's level. "No, I'm your guest!" Amanda whined while blushing a deeper shade of red. "Oh, is that so? Well, uh...I guess that you can make yourself at home, but I still have to find out who your parents are so that they know where you are." My mom continued to parent. "She does." Amanda quickly lied making me automatically know how to tell when she lies. "Oh, alright then. I'll show you to the guests room, Chelsey, you whip us up some dinner, I'll come and help you in the kitchen in a while." My mom commanded me, causing me to smile and look at Amanda who was smiling widely. "Yay, no more porridge!" Amanda cheered making me laugh and answer, "No more porridge."
