Nicole's P.o.v.

When morning came, my neck felt a bit better from the medicine the doctor gave me, but I was left with the traumatizing memories. I almost got killed. I was about to die.

When the doctor came back, I saw my aunt behind her with Sofee resting her head on her shoulder, slightly snoring. "Nicole!" She yelled, before quickly coming to me and trying to hug me over all the wires and Sofee. "Aw, I hope that you feel better. I really thought that this was it for you, but I'm glad you survived." She said softly before turning to face the doctor. I couldn't smile because there's nothing to smile about, and I couldn't yell at her for thinking that I may not make it because my neck still hurt and any vibration made might cause either my stitches to pop or my neck to hurt. I'll try to whisper though, I bet that won't hurt me.

"Killer." I whispered before blacking out.

After Nicole blacked out, the doctor told Nicole's aunt, "She may still be traumatized with earlier events, so it's best to take her to a therapist when she gets out and schedule an appointment, but for now, we're going to get her to drink some fluids before leaving. I think she feels lightheaded, that's why she keeps coming in and out of consciousness." Nicole's aunt nodded before asking, "So she can come home today, right?" The doctor nodded his head yes before saying, "For now, let's wait for her to come back to consciousness."

When Nicole came into consciousness the only thing she can think about is how dry her tongue was and how scared she was of almost dying. Since she could only look up because of her neck, which was now bandaged with a soft wrap, she had to feel for anything that felt like a cup on the side of her.

Right then, the doctor came inside with his clipboard taking some notes before setting it down to look at Nicole struggling to find her water bottle and breathing sharply. "Here you go, Ms. Hensward." The doctor said while giving Nicole the cup of water that she almost hit to the ground.

"Don't call me that." She whispered before staring at the cup, deep in thought. That was the last name of her father who had almost killed her on purpose. "He's a killer." She thought to herself before tears ran down her face making her quickly wipe it with her hand.

"Small gulps, ma'am." The doctor said, getting his stethoscope from around his neck and putting the ear piece in his ear before checking Nicole's heartbeat. It was racing from fear and pain. He looked up at her with his eyes before standing back up to go to his clipboard. Nicole took soft gulps of the water, but each one burned her throat.

Chelsey's P.o.v.

I don't know why, but I ended up crying the rest of the night yesterday after I got home from breaking up with William. I wonder what his reaction was. I probably looked like a complete idiot breaking up with him like that.

When I woke up, the first thing I saw was Janette sitting on my window bed. She looked like she wanted to yell. She was very pissed. "Janette?" I asked but she didn't listen to me, all she did was huff and look out the window. What the heck?

I got up from my bed and looked into my mirror to make sure that I didn't look too terrible from the events of yesterday. I still had red puffy eyes and my hair was a bird's nest. "William..." I whispered before touching my mirror. I squeezed my hand into a fist, about to punch my mirror before Janette said, "I wouldn't do that if I was you." I quickly looked at her. She was sitting on my bed now, but she looked like she was about to cry.
