Tom walked up to my desk and asked, "What is the color of the dress that you'll wear?" Wow, that's not what I was expecting. "Uh...I was thinking of...baby blue?" I replied unsurely. He nodded his head and sat next to me even though Janette sits there.

I tried to avoid his eye contact because 1) I am kinda nervous looking into his eyes without fainting, and 2) I am still uneasy about what Nicole told me about him. I heard someone clear their throat and I looked towards the classroom door.

There stood Christopher with his arm laying around Jasmine's neck. He was looking at me with an evil glare, but my attention was focused on Jasmine's face which was lit up and enchanted. I got up from my seat, pissed as hell, and walked up to them.

"Hello Chelsey, funny seeing you here." Christopher commented looking me up and down. I shot him an angry glare and shot back, while pointing at his face, "If you hurt my bestfriend, I will hurt you, so use your brain wisely or I just may have to rearrange it." Jasmine broke out of her spell and asked me with a worried look, "Chelsey, what's going on?" I looked at Jasmine and answered, "Have a good time with him and if he breaks your heart, tell me so that I can break him." She nodded quickly.

She looked around the room then pointed to two empty seats. "Let's go sit there, Christopher." Then they both went to sit there with Christopher giving me a evil side glare as he brushed past me.

I walked back to my seat and slumped against my chair. "What was that about?" Tom asked, worried. I shook my head no and answered, "It was nothing, don't fret."

Janette busted through the door and looked around the room until her eyes set on me. She ran to my desk, bumping into a desk on her way and screamed, "Tom get the hell out of my seat!" Making him quickly get his stuff together and get up. "You may excuse yourself." Janette snarled when she sat down, seeing that he was just looking at her and them me, just standing there.

He waved at me and went to his assigned seat. "You are not going to believe it!" She squeals, while giving me a very intense glare.

"What happened?" I asked, tired and annoyed of my friends always yelling when they have something important or excited to tell me.

"My college boyfriend said that he'll take me to the dance! Don't worry, he's only 1 year older than me, so he's not considered a pedo or creep." I nodded my head and slumped in my chair. "What happened, I thought that you would be happy for me?" She asked while calming down her hormones.

"Tom said that he'll escort me to the dance, but Nicole told me something, that I don't like, about him that I never knew." I addressed. She looked at me with both confusion and worry. "Uh, I don't know much about that goth, but what I know is that she's probably lying. I mean, you've known this guy for a long time now. You would've know if something was off about him." She asserted.

"She's not a goth, and she told me that they dated before and then he cheated on her. She was really sad after that." I added, while feeling my palms get sweaty.

"Uh...wow? Look, I didn't hear about that one and you know that I know everything, from gossip to relationship statuses. You should keep that in mind, or address it to him when you have the chance so that you can be more comfortable about the situation." She insisted, while pulling out her textbook and looking through some pages.

"But, how about if he doesn't want to talk about it?" I asked, challenging her thoughts.

"Then push him to tell you, but I doubt that you'd have any trouble with him not telling you, afterall, he is your bestfriend." She replied while scowling her textbook.
